Hello,

I am new to http://www.mytobago.info and have only previously posted in the reviews section on accomodation but I write to ask members experience and or advise on the legal process purchasing land in Tobago.

I hold TT citizenship by birth but have lived most of my life in London and aim to eventually build a family home in Tobago. Would any members be able to recommend a helpful and straightforward estate agent and or useful sites that explains the legal process of purchasing land in Tobago?

Many thanks,
Pasha

Dear Pasha

I am a real estate broker on Tobago and have been for the past 16 years. I am also a member of and director on the Board of the national Association of Real Estate Agents.

I would be happy to help you find something on Tobago and suggest that you look at my website for the information you requested on the purchasing process. Check the page called Spotlight on Tobago.

If I can help further, just email me.

Regards
Dawn

Dear Dawn,

Thank you for your reply. We have booked our tickets to arrive in Tobago on the 25th Nov and the 2 Dec repectively.

I came across your website on a number of occasions on Google and have found it very useful explaining the process of land purchase. Are there any considerations I should be thinking of at this stage? My main concern is that I will be down for 3 weeks and wondered if this is sufficient time to have the necessary formalities initiated and or completed (especially with it being Christmas and the New Year) assuming that we find a suitable plot?

Would we be able to book an appointment with your closer to our arrival dates?

Kind Regards,
Pasha
