Thanks Steve. Any idea how much local taxis are to restaurants and nearby towns. Haven't been to Tobago yet. It is a small island so I presume taxis aren't too expensive.

It's years since I've used taxis over there, so can't quote figures. But, it's cheap so don't worry. If you're on a really tight budget, you can use Route taxis. These go past the Rex on their way to/from Plymouth.
