myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Hi, firstly can I say thank you for providing such an informative site. We're very much looking forward to our first visit to Tobago and with all the excellent advice available here i'm sure we will have a wonderful and safe time.

I'm travelling with my wife and 2 daughters (3 & 6) and we are looking for recommendations of where to eat/book for Christmas lunch. We arrive on the 23rd Dec and will be staying in Bonn Accord. From what i've seen on the site so far "Bamboo Walk" looks promising but wondered if anyone had experiences or suggestions for the special day.

it is difficult to predict, which place will be open for christmas.
You may need to inquire upon your arrival.
Check also "Toucan Inn & Bonkers".

Since posting I have contacted a few restaurants all of which have said "call back at the beginning of December, we're not thinking about Christmas yet" I'm starting to understand the Tobago way. I think the Coco Reef hotel will give us what we want if not Bonkers was the next choice.
