Hi Dude
Congratulations on your very really scandalously long vacation to the Caribbean.
Have a good time and if I meet you in April/May during my meagre 3 week mini short break (by comparison) you will definitely be buying the first beer before I proceed to rob you of your senses
Have fun and keep me informed of the weather on Liquid Sunshine.
Regards

Hi Jocke
I'm from Jakobsberg just outside Stockholm.
I'm in Tobago right now, living in Bon Accord, this night we had a few hard showers but its nice otherwise, the sea is warm. Not much to do as Adventure around Crown Point, but if you need someone to talk over a beer, company around the Island, just make a call 371-6705.
I'm 65 but I use to do some long walking when I'm here, as longets Crown Point - Castara on the Caribbean side or Scarborough - Roxborough on the Atlantic Side. I might be able to give you tips on something.
I'll most likely take a short trip to Grenada or Bequia in the beginning of February, and than back to Tobago, going back home in the beginning of May.

Hi Jocke
If you call from Sweden, you should do it using a PhoneCard, as it can be really expensive by using a normal phone at normal bill. I'm using a phone card called "Latinotel", with that you pay only about 1,2 SEK per minute.
My local cell phone number, all the way from Sweden is: 001-868-371-6705
But you ca also call when you are in Tobago, I use to check my Tobago 2-3 times a week.

Hi GazHorton
You will most likely hear bad vibes once in a while from "new peoples" visiting Tobago. Why?
Mostly because they have been travelling "all included" or to destinations where peoples at locals bars come running once in a while to ask if you want anything.
Or, they have been travelling into countries with a different standard compare with W.I., or around peoples who come right at once a visitor show up at a bardesk or similar.
So, tell us what you mean, what you had heard or been reading, we are many here who can say if it´s true or not.

It's like anywhere ... make a scene of yourself and you will attract the wrong attention.
Englishman's Bay is fine ... go enjoy.

Hi Gazz.
We are just coming home from Tobago, and we always stay in Castara. I can tell you and i am sure that nearly all people from this forum will say the same. IF PARADISE EXIST TOBAGO MUST BE THE PLACE OF PARADISE.
WE have being there many times, and many outher places in the world, but Tobago is the best forever.
I think that people sometimes forget they are visiting the black peoples country, and you have to be nice and freindly, just say hallo or good day, or or, and they will love you in the same moment. We as family with 2 kids, and sometimes more, we always feel very safe. And one thing more. No matter where you travel in the world you can find durty all over on the street, the beachand ect. but it is a thing on Tobago we always talking about, there is accually most clean allover.
Hope you understand my bad english, i try my best.
With this words i wish all a merry merry Christmas.
Susanne from Denmark
