Hi Helen and Gary,

don't worry. Even if it is raining it normally will not last long. And still the rain is much warmer than in Europe.
Stay positive. 8)

In February we are supposed to be in the dry season. If there is any rain at all it will be very brief showers.

Me too, Andy! 8) Two years without Tobago is a nightmare.
I could get Carib once on a bit beer festival but it does not taste the same in Germany. Even if it's hot.

By the way: had to scrath snow from my car this morning. 5 cm!!!

Cheers

19 days and a few hours :D to tobago, only just got past 3 C today and i was working outside as normal ( hence the winter holiday )
Never seen carib any where in England, if i did i would say no i will wait for the real thing.

Must admit Paul we never gave it a thought to actuality drive through the rainforest.but at midnight in the dark  well if we do manage that we will be able to see those pesky gooey flies and give them a good scrape off and see what beats what

cheers all

Hi Richardus,

don't worry. I've been on Tobago in almost every month of the year, rainy season or dry season. Normaly it is raining. Less in the dry time and a bit more in the rainy season what is from April to October/November I guess.

I had dry days in June and rainy days in January but normally it rains not more than one houre or less. If you are lucky it rains in the night. The rain is washing the dust away and it is humid for a while but the wind will blow it away soon.
Anyway. You booked your trip and will not be able to change the waether. Just take it as it comes.
I'm sure you will have a great time \:D/

Gary and Helen, I relaly envy you! Have a Carib on me! 8)
Cheers

Then I shall bring my genuine "mytobago" cap to wear if it rains, also good for keeping bugs out of your hair!?

Good for avoiding sun burn and to meet people from this side. Whenever I was wearing this cap I met some people who also wrote on this site. 8)

Gisela,

i feel sorry for you. Scraping ice from the wind screen is certainly not a nice experience.
Well, the weather these days in both Trinidad and Tobago is mostly fair, partly cloudy, only some isolated
showers.
Wearing a cap is appropriate, it is the time for sun burn. The strong breeze easily makes you ignore the sun until
it's too late.

You people crack me up!! I love it! Coming in Aug for the first time and a few things have become very clear reading over the different topics.
1-Gotta get a Carib asap!
2-Gotta wear a MyTobago hat!...gotta work on that, hats don't sit well with long curly hair! Hummm maybe a few more Caribs will take care of that!
3-Weather will be! There is always plan B....its that another Carib?

Starting my countdown to Aug 11!
