Trinidad Airport Pickup

Hey guys,
We are going to be landing in Trinidad at 7:30 PM on a Thursday. I figure we don't really have any hope of catching a flight over to Tobago that late, so we should spend the night. I am planning on booking at Thanna's Bed and Breakfast for the night, and then taking the plane or ferry over in the morning. Thanna's offers airport pickup for when we arrive. This comes at a fee of USD$35. I thought this was quite a high price. Is this reasonable, or should I get a taxi when we get there. This pickup might be safer as well, as it seems Trinidad can be quite sketchy at night. Thanks for your input

Hello-
Why book a B&B that's 40 minutes from the airport? Leo's Place is 10 minutes away & he'll do round-trip transfers for $25. He has 2 twin rooms, ensuite with A/c for $60/night (plus other non-airconditioned rooms) and he cooks a lovely breakfast. He & his wife, Cadalia are wonderful, friendly people. Look at the top of MyTobago's home page under Tobago Flights>Overnight Accommodation (found just above all the airline logos). You can either email them yourself or book through Yes Tourism (there's a link to them also). I'm sure they take a cut & it's just as easy to do it yourself. Just remember, they don't take credit cards, so bring cash!
