myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Hey all, I am planning on honeymooning in Tobago in June. I have read a lot of different things about different parts of the island. We want to do some diving, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking and outdoor stuff like that. I have found places like avocado cottage and sea edge which are closer to Buccoo reef and that area but i have seen a lot of cool stuff up by Castara also. Can anyone recommend the best area to stay in? Castara looks really great, with places like Tom Youngs house, and a smaller, more intimate town but i dont want to be an hour drive from the good snorkeling and diving if Buccoo is the place for that. Can anyone give me any recommendations on a good honeymooning spot? we dont like resorts and lavish places, we prefer pretty basic accommodations and to be as far from tourist centers as possible. any info would be great! thanks!
