First visit

Hi
We are wanting to visit friends in Trinidad and then go to Tobago, BUT dont want to pay a fortune on flights, we are looking to travel next August. We wondered if we flew into somewhere else and the flew via carribbean airways down to Trinidad. Any Ideas would be helpful .
