Return/onward ticket requirment

Hey :)

I have just booked a one-way flight from Frankfurt to Tobago (with Condor). I also found the information that certain visitors (such as me - Polish) have to present a proof of onward ticket reservation upon arrival.

I would like to stay a week or two in Tobago and then take a ferry from Trinidad to Guiria, Venezuela or simply fly to Venezuela or Guyana.

I do not have a ferry ticket yet, but I guess I will have to book it in advance.. (still, I would prefer to be flexible with dates, my further plans etc.)

Does anyone have some experiences with getting into Tobago and how strictly the "onward ticket" condition is checked?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Rad

I would nit risk anything. if you cant book the ferry and pre book a flight, you might be able to change the ticket if you want to stay longer in T6T. even during my "struggle" for residency they always made a fuss when I reentered the country after being back in germany. always let me in, but then a again I am not polish
I hope all works out for you!

Hi

As far I know, and have seen during my travelling in the W.I, all Islands seems to demand an on-going ticket or a return-ticket, I believe T&T also have that rule.
If you haven´t got some info about this, I would recommend you to check with the Embassy of T&T or Tourist Information, local or on the Internet.
Don´t go on a one-way ticket to Tobago without checking the legal rules for a visitor, doesn´t Condor know about this?

question is: does condor care? if you go one way and they dont let you in, condor takes you back and you gotta pay again
hoestly, if you decide to go to venezuela by plane with caribbean airways book a ticket and if you like to stay longer it should be no trouble to change it....

You sould at least have an iternary / schedule for an onwards flight or a ferry ticket.

Tickets for the ferry to Guiria / Venezuela are sold at "Pier One", Chaguaramas, Trinidad.
I am not sure if you can purchase a ticket from abroad.

Godd luck !
