Locusts

We have seen quite a number of locusts on this visit. Never seem them before on any visit at any time of year. Amazing creatures, they swim, fly & jump, very strong & hard to kill. Devastated a number of plants on our terrace & in the garden. Makes you understand the damage a plague does. Have reported to the environmental health department. Not sure how they have arrived on Tobago or whether they have always been here?
