We had the most terrific week at Castara Retreats in mid-November 2011, still a very quiet time on the island. The holiday was exactly what we had hoped for – beautiful scenery, easy access to buses for exploring the island (we don’t generally sign up for more ‘organised’ sightseeing), but most of all the fabulous balcony just to sit, read, relax and recover from a stressful time at work in London.
We thought the detailed information for clients was very thoughtful and well-written. I guess people approach Castara with very different expectations; for us, Hummingbird 1 and the knowledge that the local management team were in the background to offer support if needed were absolutely perfect.
