Very nice hotel food was really good our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The small beach was very good but for us too small there is nowhere to walk to and for me nowhere to fish from. Night time entertainment was pretty poor some nights awful unless you want to listen to a pianist going round in circles all evening. The small inside bar was spoilt for us because they allowed smoking.

On the whole a pleasant holiday but a one off not to be repeated.

All inclusive recommended as prices in the hotel very expensive and nothing much outside the hotel unless you fancy a long evening stroll and then again the price of food and drink is extortionate.

This was our third visit to Coco Reef (Nov '09)and once again it was a memorable holiday. It's so relaxing to spend days on the beach with great swimming / snorkelling and a very efficient drinks service during the day. The management and staff really do make an effort to ensure their guests are looked after and we have made some good friendships among them. Food was excellent. Lobster is occasionally on the menu with a surcharge of approx 28 pounds sterling - and well worth it! There were numerous repeat guests during our stay, which is probably the best indicator of how the resort is judged by many. We hired a jeep for a couple of days and enjoyed some good trips to both sides of the island. Driving is on the left which is fine for UK drivers. The roads between villages can be very winding and steep with occasional pot-holes and side drainage channels and so there is certainly no chance for the driver to enjoy the scenery! However, we would hire a car again as it adds an extra dimension to the holiday. Petrol/gas stations are few and far between and therefore you need to keep a close eye on the fuel guage - not easy if you can't take your eyes off the road! A map showing fuel station locations is therefore essential and most hirers will provide this as normal. So I can highly recommend the Coco Reef once again and we will hopefully return for a fourth visit one day.

Our second time in the Carribean and the first time to Tobago. The Hotel was just as described by our tour advisor whose mother has visited three times previously, obviously a good recomendation. the room ,a delux sea view, was large spacious and clean, in fact it was cleaned three times a day and the beds were turned down whilst we were at dinner each night. the man made reef makes for clean safe bathing for those with children and do take advantage of the snorkels available from the dive centre the variety of fish in such safe water is amazing.

One small down point was the fact that the menus at both resturants was virtually the same so that other than deciding whether the wife had to dress up or not for dinner there was not much to chose from. The manager seems to spend more time with his returnees than trying to make an effort to speak with first timers, not condusive in getting you to return made it appear to a a them and us situation as was with the managers cocktail party where he lined up his under managers and expected the guests to queue and be introduced, surely it would have been better for his staff and him to mingle with the guests.

We used cocomotion for a morning trip Marlonwas amazing in his knoweledge of the island. for your information marlon does not come into the bay and tout for trade just give him or rachael a ring and fix up your trip.

will we go back, yes for the views the service by a wonderful staff and another blast down the coast to do some snorkling with Marlon.

We have been to the Caribbean with Sandals & Almond previously & had researched the Coco Reef with reports indicating a resort with good reviews; we therefore booked our special holiday. Aug 1969 was our wedding date so we were celebrating 40 yrs marriage. We arrived courtesy of an excellent flight on BA to be welcomed with cocktails and a room decorated specially with petals & flowers depicted in 40 yrs celebration on the beds. From that moment, the attention to detail and level of service from Eric and his team was 1st class. Meals with Melisa, beach service with Chris, cocktails with Gary, taxis with Patrick and many/many more friendly staff who could not do enough to make you welcome. We recommend Coco Reef as the best Caribbean resort we have been to and will be booking to return next year.

My husband and I got married here last year (my post is a bit late I know!!!). It was absolutely perfect. I could not fault anything. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The rooms were clean and spacious and we had no complaints. The food was amazing I have never had better food anywhere I have travelled before. In my opinion there is nothing that could make this hotel any better. It is perfect and we will be returning without hesitation.
