I stayed here with my parents for 4 days and it was perhaps one of the best vacations I've had in quite some time.

On arrival we were greeted by one the managers on site and were taken to a room after a brief tour of the compound facilities. The staff was cordial and pleasant - extremely well-mannered and willing to assist with whatever you needed.

The food was a bit pricey but the prices at the Cafe Coco restaurant -also owned by Coco Reef; appoximately five minutes away- proved to be more reasonable.

The guests were also a pleasure to be around; they weren't loud and rude.

One thing I like in particular about the resort is the versatility of it. The activities available make it enjoyable for a family, couples, or even for one person who wishes to simply relax and escape their daily duties.

All in all the little vacation was much higher than my preconceived notions and a definite welcome. I will surely return there.

Coco reef is a holiday paradise. It indeed lived up to the expectations that me and my wife had for a honeymoon venue. However, there needs to be some work done on the hospitality of a few of the employees. This is basically a resort visited by europeans, so it was sort of a surprise having locals from sister isle Trinidad, visit the resport for a holiday stay. this probably was the reason why we were initially slighted upon check-in by a couple of the staff, however, this was quickly remedied by more senior staff members, who collectively came together to ensure that not only would our stay be out of this world, but that we would, in no uncertain terms, return for another visit to the lavish resort. Thanks to them, we are definitely going back to Coco reef Resort.

We have just returned from an idyllic two week holiday at Coco Reef, Tobago. Before booking the holiday we had two concerns – no safes in the hotel bedrooms (we did not relish the idea of traipsing to reception every time we wished to deposit or withdraw something from our safe) and the close proximity of the hotel to the airport.

We did email the hotel about the lack of room safes, so you can imagine our delight when we checked into the hotel and found that our room had been provided with a safe. As far as aircraft noise was concerned we need not have worried – neither in the hotel, its grounds nor on the beach.

Our bedroom was very well furnished and the bed very comfortable. The room was maintained to a high standard throughout our stay. The restaurants offered a wide choice of meals prepared to a high standard for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar service was excellent no matter how full the bars and the beach bar service was just icing on the cake.

This was our fourth visit to the Caribbean and our first to Tobago with its beautiful beaches and stunning rainforest. We have enjoyed all our holidays in the Caribbean but Coco Reef is undoubtedly the best hotel we have stayed in.

Above all the staff, from Eric Feniet the General Manager and throughout the hotel, were so friendly, competent, helpful and ever smiling. We soon felt at home, were sad to leave and can’t wait to return.

I have never stayed at Coco Reef but I have dined at Cafe Coco which is under the same management as Coco Reef and about 5 minutes drive away.

This is an amazing restaurant. It's interior is soooooo breathtaking with waterfalls, statues and palm trees everywhere. Although its Tobago's biggest restaurant I've heard that it's very rarely filled to capacity so there is still a sense of intimacy.

The menu includes much more from what I've read on the Internet. They offer everything from international expensive food to burgers and pizzas. Dinner for my boyfriend and I (includes five drinks, appetizers and the main course) cost TT$418.00. Of course the price depends on what you order.

The service was excellent.

I have no regrets about eating at this restaurant and would absolutely visit again.
