I visited Arcadia Villa several times over the last few year and i've always been happy to recommend it to frinds and family.. Tucked away on the outskirts odf Scarborough the villa is close to.. yet just far away from evrythin. The tranquility scenic and picturesque grounds are ideally suited for families or large groups looking to get away for a weekend.. Very reasonably priced extremely affordable.. would suggest boking early as it tends to get book quite reguarlly of late.. it appears that it may no longer be Tobago's best kept secret!!!

Acadia Villa is NOT what it looks like in the uploaded shots. The property is rundown, stained/ragged/dirty bed linens, musty bedroom, scruffy bathrooms with broken/leaking toilets and fittings, I don't know what to say about the narrow bath and dirty shower curtains, broken lounge doors, don't start on the kitchen. The glass louvres have not been cleaned, sun bleached curtains, the dirt on the ceiling fan is clearly visible, the pool deck needs power washing, the outdoor furniture upholstery is stained.

Obviously no effort or expense is spared on the upkeep of the house; what does the maid service do?

The living room and dining area seem decent enough, the view is good though and the grounds are manicured.

The Villa is situated on a perfect spot to show the beauty that is tobago. the villa itself needs few updates but it is adequate and to me an unknown gem. the views are simply magnificent and the grounds ideal for weddings and party. i enjoyed my time there and is done planning my next trip.

It's a pity I deleted the photos that I took. Arcades was horrible as far as I was concerned. If I leave my home to stay at another location I expect the same level of comfort or better.

The bathroom was dirty, shower curtains had soap scum - they were obviously not washed, bathroom fixtures broken, lights missing in the bathroom, broken toilet brush (not that I would have touched it), sheets and curtains dirty, musty smelling, fan blades filthy with dirt, windows dirty, broken furniture and lamp in the room. The kitchen I refused to use. Bedroom door handle hanging on one side. Door louvres missing and broken and dirty. Porch cushions stained.

There was no cleaning before this place was let for occupation.

The only good thing was the landscaping. Well manicured lawn.

You would be comfortable there if you spent all day out and just wanted a place to pass out at night; if you were drinking heavily and liming and could care less where you drop your behind.

I would not recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever return for another stay.

Not worth the money spent. Get serious!
