My family and I rented this villa for a relaxing weekend in Tobago. The villa is very spacious and very clean. we had a problem with not having the remote control for the a/c's since there was only a switch and the caretaker told us that the remotes were not available since people play with them! The fridge was not working and we had to throw away alot of food even though it was a new fridge. The bedrooms were very spacious but some new beds are needed since the beds made noises all night. The pool area was quite nice, overlooking the entire plantations and it was very clean. the Jacuzzi was extremely relaxing. the drive from the airport and ferry terminal was a bit long and the road to the villa definitely needs repairs. Overall the villa was comfortable and the vacation and time spent in Tobago was very nice.

My friends and I stayed at the plantation villa for the Christmas weekend in 2013 for about 4 days. The house is pretty and the view was wonderful. However we were unable to enjoy the full amenities we paid for. The pool was nasty and unkempt and when we called the care taker for help the delay was way to long. We were unable to enjoy the pool because of how deplorable it was. There was also no heat for the pool. Additionally, There was also a very nasty smell in the downstairs part of the house. It seemed to be poor engineering of the toilet facilities. It smelled like wet dogs were in and out of the house multiplied by 1 million. Furthermore when we we leaving my friends and I decided to be kind and clean up the house as well as remove all if the sheets and pillow cases from the beds and place it somewhere so that the owner can easily pick up and wash. We made a ginormous mistake in removing the sheets. The level of mold and mildew that was discovered was terrifying. Yes the view is breathtaking but if you dear take a breath be sure to inhale a stink toilet Oder that would leave you dazed and confused. The owner is a very nice lady, no problem interacting, but she was very unresponsive to our complaints and her conscience didn't allow her to refund us money since we certainly didn't get what we paid for.

Please do not stay here until all of these things are fixed.

Its give me great pleasure to give this feed back on our stay at The Plantation View Villa. My sister In Law Mary Rose booked the villa for the family to spend sometime in Tobago. We all were extremely satisfied with the accommodation and the environment was superb, the view was breathtaking. I wish to recommend the villas to anyone who is willing to spend some quality time with the family. I am very much pleased and indeed will visit again. Only complaint the access road to the villas should be paved and fixed. Again thanks for allowing us the use of the villas and we will come again.

A family of 8 was fitted comfortably at this villa. The property is extremely large. There is a lot of space available. Clean, peaceful atmosphere. Friendly caretaker. I would recommend this villa for anyone looking for a nice comfortable, peaceful vacation with their family. The pool is actually larger than that of the picture posted and the jaccuzi was extremely relaxing. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

In March we had a fabulous holiday at Plantation View, which was a return visit as we had stayed there a few years before. Therewere 5 in our party although the villa could easily have taken 8/10 as it was very spacious. Situated on a hillside overlooking the Lowlands of Tobago the views were breathtaking, day and night, just as we remembered. The area was very peaseful and secure nestled within a local neighbourhood which we found most refreshing. We organised a hire car prior to our trip which was ready on our arrival and the meet and greet was perfect. All the facilities at the villa were excellent especially the lush garden and pool area with its sun loungers, a great chilling out area.

We found local shops and supermarkets not too far away for our self catering needs, but there were also some lovely restaurants in easy reach which we visited several times.

The beaches locally are all clean and tidy and in this area at the bottom of the hill was Mount Irvine Bay which was like having your private beach, very peaceful but with full bar facilities. Just up the road we found the local fishermen have a daily fish sale which was ideal for bbq's back at the villa.

We would thoroughly recommend the villa and look forward to our return in the future.
