Enjoy a romantic, comfortable stay in this funky "boutique- style" private detached cottage, conveniently located just 3 minutes from the port with high-speed boats to Trinidad, shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, government/commercial offices, historic Fort George, Tobago Museum and the market, yet only 25 minutes from Crown Point Airport or the fabulous beaches of the Caribbean coast. The terminus for all public transport is in Scarborough so travel around the island is quite easy.
The closest beach is just 10 minutes drive away, pretty Bacolet Beach. Salsa Cottage has its own friendly but quiet bar on site, at one of the most favourably reviewed but affordable restaurants in Tobago, Salsa Kitchen. Guests can enjoy great dining right on the doorstep, along with a friendly, laid-back staff and clientele. My stay @ salsa cottage was comfortable! within walking distance to "town", i felt brave enough to explore! i love ian and paula also their little daughter ivana! two beautiful dogs sammy and xeus are ever so delightful! a nice intimate space greeted me when i checked in! (i thought that they should do a general cleaning @ least once a month as to eliminate gathered dust and webs though. i also recommend curtains for all the windows in the bedroom as i like to sleep in rather than have the morning sun wake me up! an iron and a full length mirror should be included upstairs to make life easier and a bigger tv is necessary too (i love tv)lol. i would certainly stay @ salsa cottage again, my weekend was great!!!

I was pleased with this accommodation. Our host wasn't in town while we were there, but we didn't have any trouble with the place.
The only complaint would be that the windows don't have fly screens and there is no air con, so bring plenty of insect repellent.
