We had a lovely stay at Leapfrog for a week! Everyone was hospitable, and the accommodations had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and live comfortably for the week in Castara. Steve was very helpful and attentive despite being absent from Tobago, any concerns or questions we had he was very quick to respond via email. We planned our trip to Tobago last minute, and it was wonderful they could accomodate and make arrangements for us so quickly. The village, food, residents, beach, restaurants, etc were all positive. Would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Tobago. Cheers!

Absolutely loved this place. Very serene setting and everything was perfect. Left us wishing we had made our stay here longer! The place is very well maintained and we had everything we needed. Lookup was great and I really enjoyed the company of Pookie the dog and Cat the cat. They were a great companions while away from my own dogs and always happy to see us. It's a quick walk to the beach and to restaurants and bars. Hope to make it back here in the future!

Wow! well what can I say sitting here at work, with the snow falling outside... Castara is a very special place, and Toad Heights is a beautiful location. Steve & Rita made us feel very welcome, and introduced us to all the right people. The villa's location is magical - you feel as if you are in the middle of the rain forest, with mango trees, bread fruit trees, humming birds and parrots and yet you are only 10 mins walk to the beach. It's the best of both locations. The village centre is just 10 mins walk away as well. I'll miss sitting on the balcony, (drink in hand), looking out to sea & taking in all the flora & fauna. there's a couple of small supermarkets, but our favourite was Bingey the fruit king (& Hazel his wife). The best local food was opposite at the creole 'restaurant' (1st floor) - you have to try her sweet chicken stew. You've also got to see the lads drumming down at Sharon's on a Wednesday night - say Hi to joey & Casey!. The accomodation was good - wooden floors, good size kitchen, large showers, & clean spacious bedrooms, and it was cleaned every couple of days. thank-you Steve & Rita for a very special holiday.

We booked this house for six neights and now we“re staying here almost three weeks ... need more to say? We love the wooden style, the garden around the house and the daily procession of birds at the terrace. And we feel very comfortable with the hosting of Petra and Lookup, the local Hosts, whom give us many insights and experiences. Next stay at Tobago? For us Toad Hall.

Our recent stay at Toad Heights was excellent. We found ourselves coming to Castara on a short notice fishing trip. I e-mailed several different places but nobody returned our inquiry. However Stephen returned our inquiry right away and we made arrangements for the stay. The house was roomy and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well laid out. The only negative was the 5 AM rooster wake-up call followed by the barking mountain dogs. Castara is in the countryside and these are just part of the mountain lifestyle.

I would definitely stay there again.
