We flew premium last year - complimentary drinks all the way!!!
Had to travel at the back this year because some unsociable sods had booked all the premium - no free drinks - you have to purchase from the trolley (and it aint cheap) for everything but tap water
Cabin staff were very strict

on passengers gulping from brown paper bags so make sure your wife/partner/lover has a big big handbag!! (worked for me!!)

The stewardesses get so busy, they never notice if you take out one of your tiny bottles of rum, gin or whatever your poison is. Just get the free coke or tonic from the cart, make sure they give you ice ( I ask for a separate glass of ice) and mix yourself a nice bevy! I love to flout the airlines.

No free Tonic in Excel enconomy though! About £1.50 a can as I remember. Still, flight is great value.

Think I'll stick to my pre-mixed supplies, bought half bottle of bacardi whilst killing time at Gatwick last year and topped up a couple of bottles of coke with it.
Last year kids stayed with Grandparents, but will be with us this year, best make sure they don't get the bottles mixed up! anyone flying Excel on 19th May look out for my drunken daughters dancing in the aisles!!!
