Greetings, I am a newbie to the forum, but have already been the grateful beneficiary of so much valuable information gleaned from prior posts. - thank sto all.

My wife and I are coming to T& T in mid-May. We will arrive via air at 19:30. We are staying at the Seahorse for 2 nights before heading to Blue Waters for a week of diving.

My question is this: Might it be possible to rent a car at the airport when we arrive and use it for a couple of days and have it picked up in Speyside?

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thought I'd add my Q to this thread rather than start another.

We're coming in on the BA flight that arrives latish afternoon but obviously quite late 'UK time', Is it possible to get a cab form the airport to a hotel but have the Hire car delivered to the Hotel, as opposed to have to go back to the Airport to pick it up?

From the previous posts it seems that it is possible, is this likely to cost a bit though? We'd would want to return it to the airport on leaving

Yes, you can have the car delivered to your hotel. None of the good operators charge for this facility, assuming your hotel is in the main south-west part of the island. I would recommend that you arrange for it to be delivered the morning after arrival, in case your flight is delayed. Most of the rental firms are very flexible and you are sure to be able to fix up a collection/return arrangement that suits.

I'll search the forums for recommendations for good hire companies.

Once more, I have to agree with David. KCNN delivered a car to us in Castara. There was no extra charge and it came with a smile.
