New direct BWIA North American flights update

Dear all
Quote from yesterday's Tobago News:
"He [Tourism Secretary Neil Wilson at the World Travel Show, London] met with BWIA...CEO Nelson Tom Yew on Wednesday to finalise the airline's plans to service Tobago with its flights to Toronto, New York and Miami from January 28th".
These flights are proposed to be additional to the sole direct ex north american flight from Washington at present, aimed at raising the number of annual foreign visitors to Tobago to 100,000 per year.
For those of us who do not wish Tobago to become too "discovered" and busy, there is no immediate cause for panic since in comparison to similar size islands such as Barbados this figure is tiny - can anyone confirm Barbados' annual tourist figure at approx 2 million? Cyprus attracts 11 million, although a lot larger, but just a comparator for perspective.
Regards
