Hi, I have been a regular visitor of this fabulous site for some months in preparation of my holiday in tobago. Unfortunately the evening before my flight I was called by my travel agent to be advised that Grafton and Le grand courlan had been experiencing a virul illness which had left approx 50% of the guests unwell. The authorities had been called in to take various tests, but that I could still go and take my chances. Needless to say I was very concerned and called lgc to check the info, they confirmed that this was the case althoug they believed the problem was all over the island and that it was probably a type of flu virus, but that the auths had taken water/food/sea water and pool water to test. As the results were going to take about 5 days to come back from trinidad I opted to get off my flight in Grenada, so never did go to the beautiful island of Tobago. As my flight came home vai tobago I was able to talk with travellers who had been there and it seems that the ones on my flight had been affected for a day or two, but they thought that the problem was dying out. Sorry I cant give my promised reports to Steve (or Kim who asked me to check out the wedding situation.) I did meet with some people in grenada who had been to le grand courlan last year and were now at le source(where I re-scheduled my holiday) an was told that it was wonderful. I hope to try it early next year. I just felt it prudent to delay my visit to the island as nobody wants to go out to the caribbean to end up too ill to enjoy.
