My wife and I stayed at Alibaba's for two weeks this Jan. and Feb. Considering the accommodation, access to the beach, friendliness of the owners and a shopping list of other positives, this was one of the best locations we've ever stayed. We've been to quite a few islands in the Caribe and we're definitely going back to Tobago. Castara's a bit laid back, maybe too laid back for some, but we had a great time. Our neighbors at Alibaba's were friendly and a lot of fun. This accommodation just seems to draw nice people. We found the lack of A/C not to be a problem, the fans were just fine. With the exception of the surf, this area of Castara was as quiet as any island we've visited. With the sound of the sea, we slept like baby's. We owe Brian and Steph a big THANKS for a wonderful vacation. Hope Stephs back is feeling better.

Alibaba's was great value for the money. We did not see much of Stephanie, but had a good boat trip with Alibaba. Wonderful view and clean and nice accomodations, but we did decide we liked air conditioning in the future. Sharon at the Boathouse restaurent was very nice and accomodating and the prawns dinners were very well done and tasty. Would have liked to have had more variety for available dinners.

Tough driving to catch an early flight from Alibaba's so we stayed at a hotel near the airport the last night. The driveway to Alababa's could be improved to avoid the thrill of getting there. We would reccomend Alibaba's to others for a good out of the way place to relax and enjoy a nice beach.

We were only able to stay one night at Alibaba's but it was more amazing then what we expected. The view was incredible and the rooms were clean and well kept. I HIGHLY recommend it. We are planning to go back and stay more days.

We had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is ideally situated by the beach and has great views of the beach. The accommodation is good. It is basic but all the necessities, such as toilet rolls and salt are provided. The bay is beautiful and the snorkelling from the shore is great. We saw squid, rays and many of the usual fish. The fan corals were beautiful.

Stephanie and Brian (Alibaba) are happy, welcoming and very helpful. They looked after us and were a constant source of information.

Castara is a lovely place to stay. It is not yet commercialised and has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere.

The apartment was comfortable and well maintained. Loved the well thought out details - from the bird feeders on the balcony, to the corkscrews to the stepstool so that kids could reach the sink. The owners were friendly and quite helpful.We enjoyed out stay, and felt quite at home.
