We found Arnos Vale a lovely respite from the tourist spots. Victor's gardens and the birds that they attract ar wonderful. He was very accommodating in ferrying us around. Although the bus comes directly in front of his property the buses do not run frequently in Tobago. He (for a fee) took us around the entire island and provided much information on the flora and fauna and history of Tobago. The apartment was clean and had lovely light with the doors to the patio open. We both thoroughly enjoyed Arnos Vale.

I and my loved one stated in the upstairs apartment, it was wonderful,nice view of trees,breezy, towels and toiletries were available in the clean and comfortable surrounding . There was no need to ask for anything concerning the kitchen,everything was readily available, everything was well thought out to accommodate guests. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot for your hospitality .

Our family stayed over the Christmas holiday (2010) in an immaculate two bedroom, self catering apartment on the first floor. The beds were very comfortable, functional kitchen with a full refrigerator, stove and couch/futon to sit on; the area was good for daily walks and the apartment was spotless.

Be sure to rent a car, so you can drive to various beaches (be sure to surf the waves at Turtle beach, and swim and float at Pigeon Point beach) and explore the island.

If you can, have dinner at La Tartaruga Italian restaurant in Buccoo - fabulous food!

There are roosters in the neighborhood, so you will hear them early in the morning...

Victor and his wife took excellent care of us, driving us from and back to the airport, plus arranging a car rental for us. Their home is a real gem.

We stayed at Arnos Vale Apartments with our 2 year old son for 2 weeks in Dec. 2010 and enjoyed our visit a lot. The owners were very helpful and friendly, but also let us have our privacy. The rooms were clean and spacy and having a little terrace in front of the living room was also very nice. We rented a car via the owners and everything was organized very good, no trouble or problems at all. We would definately recommend renting a car if staying there because there are only a few little shopping places nearby. For any bigger supermarkets and to get to the wonderful beaches in the area you need to take one of the few buses or go by car.

We had a wonderful time staying at Arnos Vale Apts and can recommend it for everyone who does not want to stay in the more crowded south, also for families with little children.

Thanks again for a great time on Tobago.
