My boyfriend and I had a very lovely stay at the lower apartment - Crew's Nest. It is quite a beautiful place, very nice to relax. I loved every bit of this studio apartment, not a bad thing to say about it at all!
However there are some cons, there is no security on site, the driveway is also too steep to park your car so it must be left on the road at all times. There was however a friendly and adorable little dog called Scratchy! He provided some sense of security.
Aside from the parking and lack of security we enjoyed it so much we had to extend our stay...however we did have a bit of trouble since there was another booking for our studio.
We were offered the middle deck which I expected to be just as nice as the studio we were staying in before. It was not at all what I expected however since it was not prepared for us which left me very disgruntled as it smelt musty and had its fair share of lizard's droppings everywhere! The master bedroom was not comfortable at all since it was very stuffy and dimly lit. I was given a tour initially but of course everything seemed nice in the walk through. The middle deck has 3 bedrooms but we were offered it at the price of a one bedroom thankfully. The owner was very accommodating and pleasant. She gave us the keys to the balcony of the upper deck, from there we could see the ocean, such a magnificent view!!!
The middle deck did not have the romantic feel of the Crews Nest since it is a work in progress. I recommend the Crew's Nest highly, it was definitely the highlight of my trip but I really wished that some more attention was given to actually preparing the middle deck for us while we were there, our last night there was definitely not memorable.

We selected Bayview Villa for our holiday mostly on the strength of reports from previous users.
We rented the ground floor, which is a two berth (double) villa with a private balcony & use of the pool & gardens.
The pool is shared with the remaining two floors but since the maximum occupancy is 10 this should never be a problem. The gardens are very steep & forested and do give the impression that the villa is very secluded despite the nearby road.
First impressions were mixed since the pool looked as if it had not been used for several days & water was distinctly green.
However, once the very friendly staff arrived for work the following morning & the pool filters switched on, things rapidly improved.
Bacause we were holidaying in the rainy season, the centre villa, which is usually enjoyed by the owner, was empty most of the time, the arrangement with the agent was very relaxed. We were left to get on with things, which is exactly what we wanted, although we also knew that the agent was only a telephone call away if needed.
The villa itself we found to be an absolute gem of a place to stay - I would have given it the top rating if it had not been above average from a cost perspective.
Anyone with a propensity to moan will find minor things to complain about but then this is the Caribbean, I would have it no other way!

We spent 10 wonderful days at Bay View Villa.
It is a very good accomodation, with a lovely swimming pool surrounded by a tropical gardern.
The owner was very helpful and friendly.
Our preliminary schedule was to spend 5 days only there, but we decided soon to extend our stay....

Nice property with a lovely pool - i think the best we've ever had in any country. Close to the beach and village of Pleasant prospect.
The owner was helpful and friendly as were her dogs.
Gardens surrounding the property fabulous, tropical, full of fruit and birds as was the living accommodation. Only negative i think was the smallish bedrooms - the twins with no mosquito nets - which we could have done with this January as it was wetter than usual.
Balconies also a plus point with great views over the sea at night.
