My husband and I arrived and there was no one to meet us. Having lingered for some time trying to get information and calling the number given to us, my husband saw the visitors at the Captains Quarters and was given a contact number.Two(2) hours after our arrival we were met and given a key to enter the apartment. It was a mirror view of whats posted on the net, cozy, romantic and inviting. The lush garden, temperature controlled pool and the birds were a bonus. When I was not at the beach I was in the pool. However, there was no housekeeping service for our entire stay of three (3) nights, had to call and enquire where to put the garbage. In addition to no wifi internet access,no dvd player,no bathrobes, no cellphone all as advertised. Really wanted to extend our stay but the circumstances mentioned curtailed us. Lastly a larger aircondition unit and more cooking utensils are needed. Nevertheless, my next visit will be to the captains quarters.

My partner and I arrived late at night and was a bit put off by the unpaved road. However I must say when we did arrive our stay from then on was nothing short of absolute heaven! We stayed at the Middle Deck and the first detail that pleased me was the immaculate cleanliness of the entire apartment. It was obvious cleaning took place that same day or previously as there were absolutely no dust bunnies calling to my allergies. Bathrooms, bedrooms, furnishings and cutlery were all well kept and properly maintained. The covered balcony was very spacious and we enjoyed several meals in absolute bliss. Although there is no 24 hr security, we were quite contented with 'Scratchy's attempts at barking. The burglar proof and dead bolted doors provided a sense a comfort and security; and we truly never felt safer to enjoy our stay.

My girlfriends and I has a ladies weekend at Bayview Villa. On trying to find the place we encountered a dark dirt road, which made us skeptical about the safety of the location the villa. However on finding it we were totally pleased as the front of the house is on the main road. It was just beautiful we stayed on the Mid Deck. It is quite roomy and caters to your every need; the decoration is also quite fitting for the décor. We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch on the patio which I quite roomy and equipped with day beds. All in all a wonderful experience cant wait to visit again.

We’ve been coming to Tobago almost every year over the last 12 years and can honestly say this was the nicest holiday we’ve had. My husband and I stayed in the Crews Nest for two fabulous weeks and enjoyed every moment. The ground floor studio apartment is light and spacious, beautifully finished to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped and the living space bright and airy with large glass doors opening onto a very spacious terrace with table and chairs, a covered swing seat, sun loungers and a barbeque. The bed is a very sumptuous “four-poster” with mosquito nets to draw down if necessary. The bathroom although quite small, has a very large walk in shower. It’s just a couple of steps down to the shared pool which during our stay certainly was never very busy although all three apartments were occupied. We were also shown round the other two apartments on the middle and upper levels which were also beautifully furnished and maintained to a very high standard.

The kindness and hospitality shown to us by the housekeeper, Dorsey and the team was second to none.

The Villa is in a perfect location without being overlooked, close to the beautiful Grafton Beach and is within easy reach for many of the bays nearby. We hired a car for the duration (not completely necessary, but an advantage if you want to explore the rest of the Island) and parked with ease on the private road outside the secured gates to the Villa which is the main access by car. There is also another locked gate at the bottom of the well stocked and mature garden (complete with grapefruit and banana trees!) which is a short cut to another road leading to the local shops and beach.

We’d have no hesitation in recommending Bay View Villa – we’ll definitely be back and hopefully next year.

My boyfriend and I had a very lovely stay at the lower apartment - Crew's Nest. It is quite a beautiful place, very nice to relax. I loved every bit of this studio apartment, not a bad thing to say about it at all!

However there are some cons, there is no security on site, the driveway is also too steep to park your car so it must be left on the road at all times. There was however a friendly and adorable little dog called Scratchy! He provided some sense of security.

Aside from the parking and lack of security we enjoyed it so much we had to extend our stay...however we did have a bit of trouble since there was another booking for our studio.

We were offered the middle deck which I expected to be just as nice as the studio we were staying in before. It was not at all what I expected however since it was not prepared for us which left me very disgruntled as it smelt musty and had its fair share of lizard's droppings everywhere! The master bedroom was not comfortable at all since it was very stuffy and dimly lit. I was given a tour initially but of course everything seemed nice in the walk through. The middle deck has 3 bedrooms but we were offered it at the price of a one bedroom thankfully. The owner was very accommodating and pleasant. She gave us the keys to the balcony of the upper deck, from there we could see the ocean, such a magnificent view!!!

The middle deck did not have the romantic feel of the Crews Nest since it is a work in progress. I recommend the Crew's Nest highly, it was definitely the highlight of my trip but I really wished that some more attention was given to actually preparing the middle deck for us while we were there, our last night there was definitely not memorable.
