Me and my wife stayed in appartment 2, for a week in Birdie´s nest, from 17th till 26th of january 2015. It was the second time that we stayed at Prince´s place.
The facilities are perfect, the location is direkt on turtle beach, where you can have a nice walk to plymouth.
We never have had a clean place like that, travelling the carrebeen for more than 20 years. Although the place is in the village black rock, it´s save and quiet
The pool area, with nice sunbeads, and the pool itself is lovely.
The supermarket is quiet close in walking distance.
We are planning the next vacation on christmas 2015
at Birdie´s nest.

We spent a week at Birdie's Nest with our four year old daughter and couldn't have had a better time. We like to travel independently, cook our own meals, buy produce at the local store, and stay in communities that feel 'local'--and yet we like some of the amenities available at a resort; a great beach, a well-maintained pool, a safe and secure dwelling, and responsive hosts committed to customer service. All of this is available at Birdie's Nest. The suite was simple but well-equipped and very clean. We made frequent use of the gas grill on site, and spent long days going between the pool and beach.
Prince is gentle, kind and a joy to talk to. He has a wealth of worldly experience and great sense of pride in his business and family history. He manages the place professionally and attends to the fine details necessary to keep an independently owned guesthouse in good order year-round. He responded to our questions and went above and beyond what we thought was necessary. He can help you to order in meals; hire a driver; and help arrange/suggest sight-seeing around the island.
You can stay here without a vehicle, but should know that there are not a lot of restaurant/bar options in the immediate vicinity. Grafton Beach and Pleasant Prospect are within walking distance and have good food/drink options, but are 15 and 25 minutes to walk to.
The neighbourhood feels safe and walking is relatively comfortable (safe, and not busy, but no sidewalks). The locals are very friendly and will know you are one of Prince's guests.
We will definitely visit again!

I give Birdies nest 5/5 if I could I would give it more. As a solo traveller I was not without some aprehensions, but these worries evaporated on arrival. The welcome from Prince and Princess, the accommodation, the location, the help and advice, all PERFECT.The rooms are spotless, linen also. The pool and view sublime.Prince organised collection at the airport and a supermarket trip, as I was staying for a week. Gave me a map of the immediate vacinity to get my bearings, plus any help I needed to get the most out of my time in Tobago. It is well located for delightful walks, restaurants, beaches and small provision shops. This proved to be, thenks to Birdies nest, the best holiday ever. The only down side, is having to leave and go home!I recommend Birdies nest for families, couples and solo travellers alike. Would I go back? YES PLEASE...

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Tobago where we spent 5 nights at Birdies Nest. We stayed in the immaculate upstairs apartment and couldn't have been happier. Prince was a wonderful host answering all of our questions and giving great recommendations. Thank you Prince!

I had a marvelous stay at Birdie's Nest. Great interiors and pleasant service. The best part of my stay was the amazing morning and evening views around the pool area which looked over the ocean. I would wake up early just to see the sunrise and reach back before 5pm to ensure I see the sunset. I will definitely recommend the Birdie's Nest apartments for couples, families and even if you're journeying alone. It's very reasonably priced too.
