Castara Bliss Apartments - Reader Reports & Opinion

I have just returned from Castara Bliss apartments.

Having only stayed on small bay before I was hesitant to stay up in the village. To my surprise it was a wonderful experience and there were many advantages. The view from up in the hill was breathtaking. The sunsets were as gorgeous as down on the beach, we had the pleasure of watching two football games from our balcony, and we didn't have as much wildlife(interpret as you may) at our door.

Cheno has a new coffee shop/restaurant at street level, that is very nice and affordable.

The apartment itself was quite nice, the bathroom could do with a proper door as it only has a curtain. Not ideal for any privacy. The kitchen was well equiped with the only complaint being that there was not quite enough plates and cutlery. When Joshua the owner was asked for more, he promptly provided more. There is a great patio aside from the balcony and that was great to have a bbq on and have visitors for dinner.

We never had our linens changed or the place cleaned whilst we were there for 6 days, this may be something that needs looked at. We tidied up ourselves, but new towels would have been nice.

The people in the village were as pleasant as ever(save the bakery women), and we had a wonderful time.

The family of Joshua , his wife , his many brothers and sisters, their children and friends make the area very welcoming and hospitable.

It's worth the many steps up to this apartment. With a few minor adjustments I would recommend this accomodation.

The apartments are lovely, attractively furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all the basics that you would need and the bathroom has a nice shower with good water pressure. It has a great terrace with a beautiful view of the village and the sea. Castara Bliss is a block or 2 off the beach, but you can hear the sound of the sea from your bed, and it's very close to the waterfall. The owner, Joshua is really nice and helpful, and his brother has a great coffee shop and restaurant right downstairs.

I had a great time staying at Castara Bliss. The location and apartment were perfect. The best part was sitting on the balcony watching the village life and seeing the ocean. It was lovely to fall asleep listening to the ocean. Joshua is incredibly nice and very helpful, as is his brother, who runs the coffee shop outside. I definitely recommend Castara Bliss.

Great place. We were very happy with our stay in Castara and are happy that we got to stay at Joshua's great Castara Bliss. It was a wonderful and welcoming place with great proximity to the village and the beach, along with a great coffee shop at the entrance.

The owner of castara bliss is very nice, the appartment is very clean and the quality of the stuff inside are very good. The view from the balcon is nice too, we paid 60 dollars one night.

Casatra is nice but not very animated.

The waterfall is neariest, and the beach so.

Be carreful for old person the way is strong up.
