My husband and I stayed at Lillibets for 3 weeks in January/February 2016 and enjoyed every minute! We had never been to Tobago before nor had we really heard of it. A couple we met on a holiday the year before said they had been and it is a beautiful place to vacation so we checked it glad we did! Lillibets is a great place to stay and the view is absolutely awesome! It's a bit of a climb to get there but worth the work out! Nice and close to the beach. Tom and Liz were the perfect hosts, very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was appointed with all the basic necessities. The kitchen could use more counter space as well as a bit more light at the stove area but we got along just fine. We found Castara to be very friendly and safe. We loved walking around and just living like one of the villagers! The small beach below called "Heavenly Bay" is fantastic. Loved that we could snorkel anytime we wanted. We enjoyed Castara so much we are returning again next year. Now I can understand why people return year after year!

The views were great from our balcony, right out over the bay. They were a bit disorganized upon our arrival. The rooms had not been cleaned. It was as if we weren't expected! The rooms are very simple and rustic. We had 3 people in one room and the futon bed was very unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. But, the price was right.

4 of us stayed on the 1st floor, 1st room of Lillibets for only 2 nights in July 2015. while the room was very nice, having no one to call for any issues was the only thing that caused some dissatisfaction.

Sleeping on the sofa bed, we needed a fan. No one answered the phone or returned our call and no one was around at 6pm to help us so we had no fan. The next morning we realised the fridge was not working, this was due to the voltage on the wall plug that kept tripping. We eventually figured it out ourselves as no one was around to help out. At least they allowed us access to another apartment if needed to use the fridge.

The price is very reasonable for the apartment. The hot water in the shower is unstable and turns hot and cold on it's own while showering.

I loved the villagers, very helpful and friendly. Love the bay, the sting ray etc.

I stayed already a couple times with my family and friends at Lillibets. It was always a fantastic experience. And I am always coming back. It is not luxurious in the traditional 5* accommodation category. But it is luxury for the soul :-). Bruce, the manager is super helpful, friendly and reliable. One phone call or WhatsApp and after a short while the problem is fixed. The view is fantastic, the house is just a couple meters from the beach, tropical birds as visitors, fresh fish from the fishermen. What else do you need? A perfect getaway!

My sister and I stayed in one of the top apartments and it had the most wonderful view. The balcony was large and we were visited by a large number of beautifully coloured birds every morning,in fact we were feeding the motmots by hand at the end of our stay.It was most delightful. The climb to the apartment is not for the fainthearted but well worth it and we rewarded ourselves with a rum and LLB.The apartment had everything that we needed and the bed was very comfortable but you do need a pair of earplugs{which we had due to other comments}as the birds are very loud if you do not want to wake up too early Tobago was a lovely island which we explored by hiring a car a bit hairaising as you never knew what was round the next corner but exciting.
