Just back from 2 weeks at Lillibets and we had a wonderful time. Tom and Liz, who own the property, are 2 of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet, nothing was too much trouble. Enough has been said elsewhere about the accommodation but suffice to say it was perfect. It's simple, clean and you have everything you need in terms of equipment. We were on the top floor and this benefits from the most gorgeous views of Castara Bay and Heavenly Bay and the surrounding rainforest...absolutely magical. You'd honestly struggle to get a better view anywhere in the world. We spent hours just sat on the balcony watching the world go by, feeding the hundreds of exotic birds (mot-mot, Banaquits, Tanagers etc) and even catching glimpses of the shy and elusive Agouti! It's a real wildlife paradise. The village of Castara is a real Tobago experience, full of friendly people, nice, simple restaurants (the Boathouse just below us was fab), gorgeous beaches and fantastic snorkelling. Please be aware, this is about as far from a tourist resort as you can get..if you come here you are in the locals back yard and things here happen in Tobago other words slowly, but always with a smile! This was my 10th trip to this beautiful island and I can honestly say it's my favourite part of the island. If you like laid back, relaxed (limin') holidays with zero stress and beautiful tropical surroundings then you will love it here and live on the memories for months. Thanks Tom and Liz, you helped make this a perfect holiday and maybe we'll see you again!!

My wife and I stayed at Lilibets for 1 week in Jan 2015. Tom and Liz were so friendly and helpful. We had already stayed 1 week at another self catering studio in Castara and crossed the bay at short notice to stay at Lilibets.

Having checked out other places I believe Lilibets is the best place in town at that price range. We had a bedroom that was separate from the rest of the studio. The bedroom had air con and the studio had hot water too. The views from the veranda are amazing.

Castara is off the beaten track but the best place on the island for chilling out and avoiding the overdeveloped SW end... if that's your bag. 5km up the coast is the best bay in the island - Englishman's Bay - which has a daytime cafe but no accommodation.

You can hire cars by the day and make other arrangements at Ali-Babas next door. A handful of great little restaurants in town serving local cuisine - BBQ at Chennos on Sat night, Marguarittes and the Boatview for best meals.

Dear Liz and Tom,

thank you for this wonderful place! We stayed only one week in the Christmas time there. At Lillibets the appartments are really spacious an the view from the huge veranda is amazing. Everything is clean and worked very well. For us Castara and the Little Bay is the best place to stay in Tobago.

We hope to come back soon;-D Greetings from Germany,

Claudia & Djamel

We stayed with Liz and Tom in Lillibets for 15 days. They were very friendly and helpful in every way. The place is in excellent position with a million dollar view from the terrace. Thank you, Tom and Liz for everything! We loved staying with you!

We spent 5 nights at Lillibets as part of a two week holiday in Tobago in April 2014. We stayed in both the 'bottom' floor apartments (although there is another, new/nearly-finished apartment below); this was ideal for our family of four as the shared balcony was the perfect place to relax with amazing views!

The apartments were lovely and clean and were well equipped. Heavenly (Little) Bay is all of a 2 minute walk away and the bar/restaurant on the beach, the Boathouse, serves really tasty food and hosts a fabulous drum and limbo night every Wednesday which is great for kids and adults alike - booking recommended.

The only minor, minor niggles were the rather noisy air conditioning unit in one of the apartment's bedrooms and that sounds from the apartments above caused minor disturbance; our previous lodge had not had air conditioning and we coped fine, so our conclusion is that the top floor apartments at Lillibets would be our idea of beach accommodation perfection!
