I stayed at Shirma’s apartment (one bedroom)May 2012, and let me tell you, this apartment has everything to make your stay extremely comfortable. It was like a home away from home.

The apartment is located in Bacolet, just off the Claude Noel Highway and close to Scarborough and other entertainment hubs. The neighbourhood and the yard of the apartment are safe, clean and well maintained.

The apartment itself is tiled and well furnished, with cabled television, a large dining table, living room set, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking and eating utensils, refrigerator, two (2) fans, A/C, hot and cold water and an iron. We were in need of nothing. There is also a small laundry room with a washing machine and “lines” to hang your laundry.

What was most impressive though was the cleanliness of the apartment (looked new), and the affordability of the apartment.

Shirma and her son were very friendly and we would recommend this stay to anyone.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME. We decided to stay at Shirma's after reading the reviews. Our experience was above our expectations. We showed up at Shirma's one day earlier without prior notice to her, with all apartment being booked she made room to accommodate us for one night, offerred us lunch(and didnt even charged us) before moving us into our apartment. Shirma and her family was very hospitable and made sure we had all that we needed. The apartments are well maintained, very clean and spacious and the price is great. A vehicle is needed since its a way from the beaches. We recommend Shirma's for rest and relaxation. Without a doubt we will be vacationing at Shirma's again.

I visited there for my birthday, the place was nice, sleeping accommodation was a little uncomfortable as there were 2 beds joint as one. The apartment has a lovely decor,it very close to Scarborough, parking is on the road side but safe. Shirma was a very friendly host . If you are looking for a country atmosphere there is more of a city setting.

We stayed at Shirma's for 4 nights and were seriously wanting to extend our stay as we felt absolutely comfortable and relaxed. Shirma and her family were very hospitable and great hosts. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was beyond our expectations and thankfully so, because I had stayed in too many basic accommodations that in one way or the other made me feel uncomfortable. Shirma's Place was clean and spacious and she made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Having your own vehicle is a plus to get in and out of there though. We believe that we have found a home away from home at Shirma's and would definitely return.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Shirma's one bedroom apartment for a weekend getaway. The layout of the apartment is cozy and the surroundings are quiet and relaxing, the location is good, it’s not too far from beaches and other attractions. Shirma is friendly and best of all THE PRICE IS RIGHT! I WILL be returning and I recommend staying here without any hesitation.
