Beaches & Bays
The definitive guide to the beaches and bays of Tobago
The vast majority of visitors to Tobago are seeking beach holidays with lots of sun and sand. Tobago has an abundance of both and no other Caribbean island boasts quite the same range of largely deserted beaches, varying from the pristine white coral sands of the Caribbean coast to the dark volcanic sands of the Atlantic coast.
Our Tobago beach guide is divided into sections corresponding to our standard geographical regions.
Please remember that nude and/or topless sunbathing is illegal in Tobago. This practice is often considered highly offensive to the local population and visitors who disrespect their feelings are likely to find good sunbathing time is being wasted chatting to the local constabulary. Please also remember to cover-up when leaving the beach. So, no nude bathing or topless sunbathing and cover up when off the beach!
