Your questions and comment on restaurants and dining out

Seeking advice. One of my fellow travelers who will be joining me on holiday in Tobago is gluten intolerant. Any suggestions on restaurants and where to by gluten-free products like pasta? Thanks all.

Hi,
I believe Morshead Grocery has some gluten-free products. Also Kariwak Hotel may serve gluten-free products but I'd call and ask just in case.

Fish is free of it, a staple diet in Tobago ... plus some Rums are Gluten free but you need to check the small print

Paul, good point! I know we'll be eating lots of fresh fish and veggies. Heck, I could live on that alone for two weeks, with an occasional BBQ chicken thrown in there. Oh...wait a minute...I cannot live without macaroni pie!

I think you will need to check with the chef about the Macaroni Pie ... less gluten/more cheesy ... then smile.
