Carnival this year
We will be at Coco Reef for two weeks starting Tuesday 6 February. Can anyone tell us what to expect of Carnival events (and where) in the Crown Point vicinity?
Cheers,
Colin

Re: Carnival this year
mostly informal events in the locality - the "action" has switched back in town with no organised Crown Point J'Ouvert this year.
However, you have a couple of bars locally who will be fielding bands so you will definitely find them warming up during Sunday - one up by the Fortune Plaza and one much closer to Coco Reef, opposite Chef's takeaway.
There are organised events at Buccoo and also at Gibson's jetty (by the lagoon), not sure if there's anything at Pigeon Point. Otherwise keep an ear open for impromptu happenings local to you.

Hi Paul,
That's a great help, thank you so much. We'll check out your suggestions, and also keep an ear to the ground. We fly to London this afternoon, to catch our flight to Tobago tomorrow morning, so starting to get excited

Re: Carnival this year
I just heard it announced on Tobago Update that there will be a Crown Point J'Ouvert.
Thanks, Paul, for that detailed calendar of events! Is the whole year available? I could not locate it.
