Property Description

Provided by the property, or taken from their website

Welcome to The Seaside Garden Guesthouse and to Tobago. Join our authentic tropical paradise by the bluegreen sea and golden sands of Buccoo Bay, in the heart of Buccoo, a traditional Tobago fishing village.

The Seaside Garden is our modern guesthouse with family atmosphere and is situated directly overlooking Buccoo Bay - the sea and beach is just 30 metres away. We invite you to come to stay with us and to enjoy your "home-away-from-home".

The airport and the capital town of Scarborough are only some 10 minutes away by car or by the local "Route Taxis". We can arrange car rental at discount rates for residents. Ideal for touring this beautiful island where driving yourself is easy. (The left side of the road as in England!) Petrol is very cheap over here as Trinidad and Tobago has its own oil resources.

Our Guesthouse ... is your home away from home. Join our authentic paradise by the bluegreen sea of the Buccoo Bay.

Enjoy your meals on the verandahs, or in the garden or the upper sundeck overlooking the long and beautiful beach and Lagoon. We have a fully equipped kitchen that may be used for the preparation of breakfasts or light meals. Local meals (excellent and good value) are available nearly in the village that provide on "eat in" or "take away" service. There is also a high class Italian restaurant just 50 metres away. A boutique offering authentic batiks and tie dyed original garments is only 4 doors away. Also local general shops are closely in the village for most of your everyday needs.

Children - most welcome of course! - However, due to the various small changes in levels and steps around the house (no problem for adults of any age!), parents of children under 3 years of age may feel these to be hazardous to tiny tots walking around unsupervised. Children love all of the colourful, cute lizards in our garden!

Our rooms are tastefully furnished with tropical flair or in antique style, with either one double bed or both a double and a single bed.

The Sea view apartment on the upper floor with the loveliest view over the ocean contains a spaceious living room, a bedroom with 2 double beds, a bathroom / shower and a kitchen with everything you need.

My husband and i stated at the seaside from Friday 18th to Monday 21st.when we got to the airport miss Astrid the owner had organized mr. Alfred car rental for us which was great for us to get around the island. On arrival at the guest house we were greeted by miss Astrid herself she was kind and warm hearted she invited us to her house where we organized our weekend and told her of our trip.she then showed us to put rooms which was filled with sweet aroma and well clean and comfy she showed us around the guest house which was also clean and quiet. We had a great weekend and i would recommend anyone to stay at seaside gardens u wont regret it especially when u got the beach right next door.

Donna & Chris from Canada visited in August 2015 and awarded

We stayed at the Seaside Garden Inn Guesthouse on our visit to Tobago in August 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tobago. We found the location to be quite central to everything (car rental is a good thing!). The Guesthouse itself was clean, accommodating and although not a 5-star resort, it was appropriate for the affordable rate. The proximity to the beach was great, however, the area was not the best. The noise level of the nearby 'hang-out' spot and the colorful language was off-putting to me personally but this may not be a problem to anyone else and should not really reflect on the property itself. We tried to change our flights so that we can stay in Tobago longer because we absolutely LOVE Tobago! We will definitely return to Tobago but we are not sure with the change in ownership of the Seaside Garden, if the property will be the same. We are definitely planning to return to Tobago!
