We loved our short stay at Seaside Gardens. Sheldon, our host, was extremely helpful even when we were still in Trinidad and experiencing flight issues. He took care of us from the beginning, arranging a place to stay until we could get to Tobago, picking us up from the airport, taking us to the grocery store, arranging a hike, and helping me with details in planning a wedding. The place was well kept and exactly as described. We were very satisfied!

The Seaside Garden is a lovely guesthouse well positioned in Buccoo. Appropriately named for the flowers and foliage that give shelter from the hot sun and privacy from the road, this guesthouse provides comfort, calm, cleanliness and excellent proximity to local amenities. Our host, Sheldon, was the essence of hospitality and made every effort to make us feel at home during our week long stay, including sharing home-cooked T&T food and advice on sightseeing, as well as organising hiking trips. We also enjoyed his talents as a massage therapist in addition to a sunset yoga class on the terrace.

For a small village, Buccoo punches above its weight. Being situated in the Seaside Garden we were seconds away from hopping on a boat to Nylon Pools, watching goat-racing in the impressive new stadium and, of course, enjoying the Sunday School performances. We enjoyed our stay so much we returned after a trip around the island to spend our last night there before departing home. Highly recommended!

My friends and I recently spent a weekend there - Sheldon was very friendly and accomodating. The location was great as you were just over the road from Buccoo beach. Very peaceful and realaxing. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the Seaside Gardens was truly what we were looking for great place, beautiful beaches the view from our room was spectacular. Sheldon arranged a car for us and was there to help us with anything we needed. I fully recommend the Seaside Gardens to anyone wanting to visit Tobago. My son and I would definitely stay here again when next we visit Tobago. Thanks Sheldon.

Sarah from U.S.A. visited in April 2012 and awarded  Five out of Five

My husband and I stayed at Seaside Gardens when we visited Tobago this last April, largely because my parents had visited 10 years earlier and raved about it. We were not disappointed. The staff was above and beyond our expectations. Sheldon, the Guest House manager, picked us up from the airport, made us feel at home in the kitchen by offering us meals and free range of the refrigerator, stove, etc. He took us on a late night turtle-watching expedition and was very knowledgeable about the locality and its surroundings. The GH itself was beautiful, with lush gardens and a veranda overlooking Buccoo Bay. In the morning, birds could be seen diving into the bay for fish - what a sight! Massage was offered, for a fee, right at the house and a glass-bottom boat tour could be booked right outside the door. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the whole house had an open-air, beachy feel. At $42 (US) per night, we felt this was all offered at a very affordable price. We recommend Seaside Gardens and will definitely stay again.
