Room accomodation: Clean, spacious, stocked, everithing OK

Outdoor gardens: very nice

Beach despayed on the catalogue and web: pratically not existing; the very small one close to the hotel, always crowded of not very good persons

Pool: clean and large enough

Pool bar service: Ok

Breakfast: food variety very poor

Breakfast service: ok

Reception Service people: Too many, lazy, non kind with guests, never smiling and some time sullen. This is the worst feature of the hotel!

We loved Crown Point Hotel, we felt very secure with the round the clock security and fenced complex, a beautiful view from our balcony, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the peace and quiet was wonderful. We loved the quiet atmosphere at the open air restuarant which by the pool and the outdoor bar that overlooks the ocean. The rooms were clean and quite nice, not what we are used to in Canada for that price, but we found the room comfortable. We found the staff very helpful and enjoyable, some more than others really made sure that you were having a good time in their resort and in Tobago. We also found that Store Bay beach adjacent to the resort that is used by the hotel guests was one of our favorite. The restaurant was a bit pricey but the food was good. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend it.

Preferred rating would have been 3.5.

Mine was an overnight stay so as to conduct business the next day.

Room was comfortable, clean and secure. Surroundings were serene and welcoming.

Renovations to restaurant were quite pleasing. Food was delicious and portions were more than satisfactory.

Close proximity to the airport was of great benefit. No need for a taxi, therefore a saving on additional expenses.

Also chose it because of the nearby Store Bay. This was disappointing, however. The shoreline has changed and while I usually prefer active waves to calm water, the irregularity of the sea bed took away from my enjoyment as I had to be more careful not to get out of my depth. Some kind of action needs to be taken to restore the sea bed.

The wooden walkways in the hotel itself could also do with some restoration. Well finished wood is a beautiful sight and would enhance the charm.

I stayed here for my honeymoon in a studio room. The room was decent, clean and comfortable; a functional kitchenet; cable tv; hot&cold water and air condition. The balcony had a beautiful view overlooking the sea. Privacy was good and room service cleaned the room and replenished items like soap ans toilet paper every morning. the staff were and nice helpful. There is a nice walkway through the garden to the beach and the pool is clean and nice.

The only downsides is that the pool access is restricted to between 9am and 6pm. The other negative is the prices of in house meals are really extravagant and variety is limited.

All in all a great place and will stay there again.

My friend and I stayed in one of the studio apartments for three days. The room was very nice and accomodating. All the appliances were working including the hot water and the blowdrier in the bathroom. We were there from Friday to Sunday and at nights we were treated to live entertainment in the hotel. Because we were located close to the bar/pool area, we didn't even have to leave the room...we just stayed indoors and enjoyed the music. The grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed the private access to StoreBay beach. We did not dine at the hotel because we found food prices to be a bit high but there were a lot of eating places in close proximity to the hotel which we patronized. The majority of the staff were nice but there was one staff member-the person in charge of distributing beach towels who acted as though we were disturbing her when we went to obtain towels. Even though we were located so close to the airport, we were not disturbed by incoming/outgoing flights. Also, because of the proximity to the airport it was not necessary to take a taxi - it was less than 5 mins walking distance. We had a great time and will be happy to stay there again when we return to Tobago.
