Crown Point Beach Hotel - Reader Reports & Opinion

My friend and I stayed in one of the studio apartments for three days. The room was very nice and accomodating. All the appliances were working including the hot water and the blowdrier in the bathroom. We were there from Friday to Sunday and at nights we were treated to live entertainment in the hotel. Because we were located close to the bar/pool area, we didn't even have to leave the room...we just stayed indoors and enjoyed the music. The grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed the private access to StoreBay beach. We did not dine at the hotel because we found food prices to be a bit high but there were a lot of eating places in close proximity to the hotel which we patronized. The majority of the staff were nice but there was one staff member-the person in charge of distributing beach towels who acted as though we were disturbing her when we went to obtain towels. Even though we were located so close to the airport, we were not disturbed by incoming/outgoing flights. Also, because of the proximity to the airport it was not necessary to take a taxi - it was less than 5 mins walking distance. We had a great time and will be happy to stay there again when we return to Tobago.

Spent 4 days in a Cabana on the grounds of the CPBH. Less than 5 minutes walk from the AIrport( we never heard a plane land or take off). The room was generally in good condition, the bathroom would need updating soon but was ok, but the view from the patio out to sea was superb. Staff in the reception and bar took a while to get warm, but a few smiles and a laugh quickly got them onside! Try one of Nicholas`s Rum cocktails at Sundowners bar, highly recommended!!

Stayed in a Cabana at the Crown Point beach hotel for a week and can definitely recommend the Hotel and the Cabanas.
As others state the views from the Hotel are great and you have Store Bay beach (which is very nice, if not your stereotypical deserted Tobago beach) right on your doorstep. The pool wasn't great but not bad and the sundowners bar is deffo worth a visit for a couple of Stags.
It is also very close to the airport so a perfect choice for the start and end of an extended holiday
We ate at the hotel 3 times, once for breakfast and twice for lunch. The breakfast was very expensive for what you get and really was not worth it in my eyes. We ate off the Sundowner Bar menu at lunch, I had a burger on both occasions and can deffo recommend that!
Staff were polite, if not overly friendly
All in all we were more than happy with our choice and would definitely consider going back on any future visits, esp after visiting or other choice (Kariwak) for dinner one night and much preferring the situation of the Crown Point Hotel. Having the beach on your doorstep and the magnificent views are unbeatable in my eyes

Very comfortable and well equipped hotel. Friendly staff (except Bar), in particular receptionist very helpful. Excellent location for beach, but noisy on Friday/Saturday night.
Rooms comfortable and clean, and complex felt very secure, in particular for single traveller.
Would not be suitable for disabled travller as many steps, but ground floor rooms may have been more suitable.
Overall very pleased with choice for quiet relaxing holiday.
