A guide to outlets that hire/rent snorkeling equipment
Beach vendors and other outlets rent snorkelling equipment by the hour or the day, but the range and condition of equipment varies enormously.
The following more established businesses are known to hire equipment. Most of the major hotels have equipment available for use by guests and a few sometimes rent equipment to non-residents. We would appreciate notification from readers who have hired equipment anywhere not mentioned in this section to help us expand our list.
We have not inspected the equipment available from these outlets, so cannot comment on choice (type/size) or condition. However, as many of these outlets are dive shops we would refer readers to the ranking system mentioned in our Dive article as it is fairly logical to assume that high ranking operations are more likely to have a wider choice of good equipment than lower ranked.
