J'Ouvert Villa is a spacious four bedroomed, four bathroomed property, adjacent to the Mt.Irvine golf course. Within walking distance of the beach. The fully equipped kitchen is separated from the living dining area by a bar counter with stools. The covered verandah overlooks the pool and holds a dining table with seating for ten.
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1-queen bed Bedroom 2-queen bed Bedroom 3 and 4 six twins
Bathrooms: All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and baths.
Kitchen: Well equipped with gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave. Laundry room with washer/dryer.
Utility Room: Outside shower for pool.
Living Rooms: Spacious living, dining area with cable TV, VCR, stereo and CD player.
Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Six days a week maid service, with all linens, beach towels supplied.

In 50 years of going to Tobago this is the worst accommodation I have stayed at. The property was filthy. One of the toilets never worked. Appliances were over 20 years old. Kitchen was ill equipped and the staff utterly rude. Never to be repeated.

We are very sorry to read your negative review of J’Ouvert Villa. At the time you stayed there the appliances were only two years old and are still in very good condition. We have owned the villa for 17 years and treat it as our home in Tobago. Our staff have been with us for many years and take pride in keeping the place in good condition, ready to receive guests. Certainly if a toilet was blocked it would be fixed immediately. We investigated the situation and understand that there was an altercation between you and the housekeeper about changing the sheets when your belongings were left on the bed. Understandably the housekeeper was reticent to touch your belongings as per our instructions. Had you contacted us directly at that time we would have done everything we could to address your concerns. Gillian and Keith McIntyre

My group of ten stayed at J'ouvert Villa on 13th-15th September 2013. We were greeted by Mike who was very friendly and made us feel at home. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation because every bedroom had its own bathroom and sufficient space for us to be comfortable. The living and dining areas had enough space for us. The pool was where we spent most of our time, was big enough for all of us and about 6 feet on the deeper end which we really enjoyed. My only concern though was the utensils in the kitchen. I personally didn't feel comfortable using anything but we always walk with our stuff so it was not too much of a problem. The stove, fridge and freezer was very clean. We had a great stay, loved the quiet area. We did get a lot of fresh fish from the Mt Irvine area and Stonehaven Beach is a must visit. I would definitely recommend J'ouvert Villa.
