Kapinjala has to be the most beautiful villa in Tobago! The view of the Caribbean below is absolutely stunning, and the house itself is so lovely we found ourselves not wanting to leave for days! As you swim in the gorgeous infinity pool you can gaze out to the sea below. The secluded location made us feel as if we had really gotten away for the week - we loved the mot-mots and chachalacas. And how perfect to have a wonderful home-cooked Tobagonian meal provided to us on our first day! Nice to also have some food supplies already there in the fridge for you with eggs, bacon, and other food stuffs along with beer and of course rum punch. The snorkeling at Arnos Vale was also nice, and the walk is under 10 minutes to it. Simply cannot say enough about this place - just outstanding.

Despite seeing inviting photos on the website we were unprepared for the captivating panoramic views greeting us on arrival at the entrance to Kapinjala, straight through to the terrace, the pool, Arnos Vale Bay and beyond! I do recall uttering that cliche, "WOW"!!

This spectacular location is perfectly placed to benefit

from the tranquil beauty of the surrounding lush tropical vegetation and its inhabitants,(parakeets, parrots and hummingbirds etc), whilst being easily accessible to all that you may need whether it be food supplies, restaurants: The Fish Pot and The Seahorse, or beautiful beaches such as Pigeon Point. A bonus was to find that snorkelling from the bay below the house was superb and easily enjoyed by children and adults alike with a fantastic array of fish to be seen just 2-3 metres from the seas edge. We enjoyed a fantastic day out at sea on Cocomotion allowing us to fully appreciate the breathtaking beauty of this Caribbean gem: a refreshing contrast to the extravagance and opulance of neighbouring islands.

The house is superbly appointed with every need met from the ultra efficient and almost noiseless air con to the quality bedlinen. Marlon the manager was a fantastic source of information and very patient fielding questions from two inquisitve 10 year olds about life in Tobago!

The infinity pool and jacuzzi could not be more perfectly placed to relax and luxuriate in the enchanting views especially at sunset.

By the end of our two week stay we had truly relaxed and did not want to leave having become immersed in the charm that is Kapinjala and Tobago.

Hopefully we will visit again, next time for longer!

My daughter and I booked late to join friends staying at Kapinjala, so so glad we did.

Our first sunrise, revealed the beauty of Kapinjala perched on the hilltop, nestled into the tropical rainforest and with the green and turquoise waters below. All this accompanied by exotic birdsong and distant breaking waves which cascade up through the palm trees. These views and sounds are seemingly untarnished, with virtually no background noise, no busy roads all of which add to the sense of tranquility.

During our short trip, we explored much of the surrounding coastline - snorkelling in Arnos Vale and Emerald Bay, swimming in Englishman's bay, Pigeon Point and body surfing the breaking waves in Cotton Bay. Despite the Easter weekend no queues, no crowds just a few others who share in this paradise. I understand Tobago has prevented development around and on top of its beaches, which ensures the Island is best seen from the sea - we would join the other comments, the "Cocomotion" day was probably our best day out EVER!

The other place to view this island is Kapinjala's wonderous infinity pool, everything about the Villa met our needs perfectly but the pool and surrounding terraces / balconies make the place very special.

Other highlights included the Goat racing at Bucco, dining at Seahorse, and Marlon also found us some great lobster on our final night.

Our only sadness, departing after only 7 days - but my wife and I are planning a longer visit next year.

Kapinjala villa with its infinity pool and jacuzzi is quite simply stunning and the views are breathtaking!

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks here and will definitely return. The villa has been furnished to a high standard with many extras and is well placed for exploring Tobago but equally very comfortable if you want to stay home and relax or lime as they say in the Caribbean!

We spent hours in the pool looking over the edge at the beautiful flowers in the garden and spotting the birds and wildlife. There was always something new to see!

From the information that the owners have put together and visitors have added to, we found some lovely restaurants - The Fish Pot and The Seahorse being favourites and had some great days out too.

We had a brilliant day with Marlon who took us to the rain forest & waterfall.

Went to Sunday School twice - check out Ann Maries food - scrumptious and have Tito drive you - great experience.

A day out on Cocomotion is a must, fabulous day snorkeling, bbq on the beach and plenty of rum. Best day in Tobago for us!

Kapinjala Villa is a piece of paradise on this beautiful island and we can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed the holiday of a lifetime at Kapinjala. The villa has everything you could wish for and then some. We had both spent time drooling over the pictures on the Kapinjala website, but were still stunned by the reality. The owners seem to have anticipated every want or need that guests could possibly have. Our bedroom had fantastic views over the bay, in fact the views from every window, balcony and the pool area are spectacular. The wildlife to be seen around the villa is amazing. We particularly loved the luxury of swimming in the infinity pool at any time of day or night and the plentiful supply of towels. We will return..........
