This was our second stay at Kapinjala and we were equally as impressed as the first time. The location is a great base from which to explore the island...we snorkled on the west coast and in Arnos Vale Bay, golfed at Mt. Irvine, and again went to Sunday School. But equally we spent a number of days simply lounging around the spectacular pool!
But the proprietors have not stood on their laurels. The facilities are still very well maintained. And they now have added broad-band access which also allowed us to stay connected to the rest of the world when we needed to!
I can't think that there is a better place to stay in Tobago.

What can you say about this luxurious villa set in its own grounds, with a path to the local cove (excellent snorkelling). The views, accommodation, and surroundings are just beyond belief - we enjoyed a fabulous week in this 4 bedroom (all en-suite), air conditioned villa that just surpassed expectations completely. I would seriously like to put people off this villa but it is difficult to say anything negative about this well built, well planned villa, where every detail and facility has been provided - just outstanding!

Having read the reviews of both Tobago and Kapinjala before our stay, and taking them with a small pinch of salt as normal, I can only say that we were both completely blown away, both with the beauty of the island and also with Kapinjala villa.
The villa had everything we could wish for. Having arrived in the dark we were unaware of the lovely view that awaited us in the morning, from the green undulating hills to the stunning Arnos Vale Bay below with it's vibrant, turquoise water, just a little walk down the hill and perfect for snorkelling and swimming.
The design of the villa is extremely attractive, with a wonderful veranda to while away the hours, and a lower terrace for sunbathing before walking into the wonderful pool. Many an hour we spent just peering over the edge of the pool looking at the view and the humming birds below. Every detail has been thought of for the comfort of the guests, from the housekeeper who cooks a traditional welcome meal and cleans the villa Monday to Saturday, to the postcards (ready stamped) for guests to send home.
We wish we could report on something that would keep everyone else away, but unfortunately can't think of anything. Kapinjala has captivated us, with its wonderful location and complete peace. We have never had a holiday which has left us feeling so uttery relaxed, even after returning to work. We must still be 'on island time'. Thank you so much.

Kapinjala was such a nice place to stay, the rooms and bathrooms were so much nicer than expected and for 6 people was more than enough space. Everything about the villa was nice; the pool, the kitchen, the balconys. And it was equipped with everything that we would need on arrival. It was a little far out from anywhere so needed to ask Marlon or a taxi for a lift to Scarborough or anywhere else of interest. If alot of excursions are planned, it may be best to hire a car, it might work out cheaper. If I ever return to Tobago, I would definately stay here again.

The villa was excelent,a wonderfully peacefull area and great scenary, would have no reservations for a return visit, the taxi servise was a little too expencive and felt we were being taken advantage of because we were a little off the beet and track,
