It was our first time to Tobago and we found Kapinjala to be a fabulous villa that far exceeded our expectations. It was modern, very clean and very well appointed, the infinity pool provided hours of fun and relaxation. The views towards Pigeon Point and Nylon Pool are stunning and give a real feeling that this is paradise!
The information given and advice received from the owners prior to us booking was most useful and ensured that we made the most of our holiday. We would recommend a trip to Pigeon Point, The Aysgarth Falls and Sunday School, also a 4x4 car is to be recommended. In summary we found Kapinjala to be an excellent villa and a fabulous hoilday venue which was everything and more than we expected.

A wonderful place to stay on this lovely island.
The villa and views are so good, that it's hard to tear yourself away to go sightseeing. The positioning of the villa has ensured that welcome cool winds waft down the side of the valley taking in the terraces of the villa, and to lie listening to the sound of the sea and the birds, is heaven. We enjoyed bird watching at Arnos vale and then snorkelling in the cove below there.
The villa, pool and jacuzzi are of a very high standard In fact, nowhere in the world have we swum in a more beautiful pool. The villa itself is elegant and beautifully appointed.

An exquistite location with magnificent views. An ideal spot to chill out with friends. The swimming pool is the best we have ever used in a villa - an infinity pool which is big enough to clock up decent lengths.
Each bedroom has its own terrace and the house is so spacious that one can always find a secluded spot to read quietly - even with a full house.
The design, furnishings and fittings are new and superb quality. Service from the staff is excellent.
Wonderful bird life and a short walk down to the beach where there is excellent safe snorkelling were added bonuses.
We loved it and will certainly be going back with the family, although we would not recommend it for very small children.

Our party, and friends staying elsewhere, were delightfully surprised when we arrived at the villa! Not only beautiful but clean and well furnished above all expectations. Coming from the states we were a bit apprehensive about renting sight unseen but we couldn't have made a better decision. I would be happy to refer others here, in fact, we met a couple on the way home from out east and we gave them the address of the villa owners! We would be happy to answer any questions from people interested in renting this villa. Now, we need to find an occasion to return!
Our daughter had intended to get married at the Arnos Vale Waterwheel but they changed plans and were married in front of the pool and had the dinner at Arnos Vale.

I’ll use one word to sum up our stay at Kapinjala - Paradise!
The beautifully designed and furnished house rests on a hilltop overlooking one of the most sheltered bays with great snorkelling. The house itself is stunning with more than generous room sizes (all en-suite) with a magnificent master bedroom with it’s own four posted bed overlooking the sea. The views from the pool and the bedrooms are spectacular. The house (with its own housekeeper) provides hotel living. And if that’s not enough a welcome dinner of local cuisine is ready and waiting on your arrival.
You have to explore the island and the island life. In doing so you can find a Lobster diver who will fish for fresh Lobster! Grilled on the BBQ with garlic butter is just delightful. Time it right and you will also see giant Leather Back Turtles giving birth to 100 eggs. Something just amazing and rare to see.
Visit Nylon Pool by boat and have a BBQ lunch on a deserted island. The water is crystal clear. It has to be one of the most stunning place I’ve ever visited – a place a man could propose to his future wife!
We stayed 10 nights and we were reluctant to leave the villa as it had everything we needed and wanted. The occasional shopping trip (by car) and boat trip (picked up from the bay below) was quite enough excitement.
We loved it so much we have booked to spend two weeks of our honeymoon back at Kapinjala. I am counting the days!
