Another great holiday in your fabulous house. we love the living room / verandah where we can experience all the sights, sounds, weather and wildlife of Tobago.
The new moon rising, the stars like diamonds in the sky, the glow bugs twinkling in the trees like fairy lights while the resident bats from the tool cupboard swoop around you. The garden is growing beautifully and we sampled the enormous creamy avocados, lemon bananas and mangos.
Jenny's river garden is located to the right of the steps by the water pipe, plants we collected on our trek along the river to the waterfall with Mark, I hope it survives!
From the verandah we saw mot mots, blue tanagers, palm tanagers, grass quits, silver beaked tanagers, common black hawk , banana quits, house wren, red - crowned woodpecker, tropical king birds, mockingbirds, a bare eyed thrush building a nest, the resident doves and green parrrokets. We heard the whistling frogs, the bleating goats, the clicking gheccos and the numerous bird songs. The angelic soulful singing from the church and hugh 3"! brown flying beetle flying in at night.
Beaches and swimming, especially snorkeling are brilliant!! A huge stingray swam beside us, close enough to touch, at Mt Irvine bay just in front of the cafe in the shallow water by the rocks, we could hardly believe it!! We saw loads of other wonderful fish - rainbow parrotfish, french angelfish, numerous blue angelfish and many many more. Loved the pelicans fishing off the sea.
Did some liming at a big party at Mt Irvine with brothers with vision djing. Met Pablo, Jason and other lifeguards.
Al in all a wonderful holiday. Thanks so much.

Brilliant house and a beautiful Island. Enjoyed our stay with the grasshoppers, fruit bats, geckos, birds, crickets, and other animals, but not the mosquitos.

I have stayed here twice now over the last couple of years.
I love this place.................. it feels like a home away from home.
The location is great to get around the island, esp the market for fresh fish and produce. If you need to pick friends or family up from the ferry its a five min drive.
Airport is 20 mins if you drive like me:) i would recomend this to anyone who wants to feel the true spirit of Tobago.x

I don't want to leave! Next guest should check the downstairs to make sure I am not hiding down there!
Everything here is amazing - the house - hats off to Louis and his carpentry skills. The beaches and the fish that live in the glorious clear water just left me in wonder. The animals, birds, lizards, bats and things that just surround you where ever you go. The hugh hospitality and friendliness of Mark & Zena and their equally amazing house (Mt.Pelier Cottages).
The weather was so good and I didn't get sunburnt - hooray! Harriet's food stall in number 5 in Scarborough market is a good tip for breakfast - salt fish sandwiches rule. Macaroni pie & callaloo with BBQ chicken is delicious.
The winding roads are pure madness - I recommend taking a couple of days to drive to Charlotteville as the views on the way are so beautiful - Pirates Bay is the best beach on the Island, but do not stay at Belle Air Cottage as the rooms have horrid bed bugs.
Coconut water, Soca music, Mt Irvine lifeguards, the cricket, snorkeling, STAG beer, and rum & tonic water, the cocorico's, the singing & music from the church at the bottom of the hill, the lovely people... I love it here and I am sure I will come again.
Big up to all the Tobagonians and cheers to Laura and Louis for letting us stay in their gorgeous house.
