I was unable to visit/stay at the Villa due to an emergency however I was told by my family members who visited and stayed at the Villa that their stay was enjoyable and memoriable, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the children especially enjoyed the pool. I am hoping I can visit/stay at the Villa in the near future so I can experience all that was told to me by my family members during their stay from February 22 through February 25th. Thank you.

A very good experience. Pool excellent, washing machine a good plus.
A little disappointed that there were no signs to guide us off the road as it took some finding. Even the locals were unsure of its location.
Other than that I will be booking again when my travels take me back to Tobago.

We had a long weekend stay and both my friends wanted to leave when they saw there was no A/C but after looking around and getting a feel for the place they were very pleased. I myself was extremely pleased. We had our own private pool and the place was very secure. The driveway was under construction but when that is done Mary hill will be able to give anyone looking for a getaway exactly what they are looking for. I only hope that it remains affordable. I most certainly will return

Before I booked Mary's Hill Lodge I read the few reviews I found and looked forward to staying there. We were very disappointed when we arrived.
All I can say is if you are going to book this cottage you must realise it is VERY basic. I did wonder, when looking back at the reviews, if we had gone to the same cottage!
The kitchen and sitting area are open on one side so expect dust in both of those areas and some insects (we expected that so it wasn't a real problem). The kitchen sink is actually outside the building, the cooker rusty and pots and pans basic.
The master bedroom and shower room are very simple and are open at the roof so can be chilly. The other two rooms are even more so.
The cottage is on a main road which can be busy and noisy. It is among the village so you can hear music from other houses. The garden is on a slope with steep steps and needs new sun loungers.
Mary's Hill Lodge was not sutable for us so we left the next day. I was in touch with the owner who was helful and said she would make several changes to the house so hopefully some of our problems will now have been solved. Just be aware before you book that this is a rustic holiday let.
