We stayed at new timbers for ten days during August and had the time of our lives!! Prior to our stay we found Wanda(owner) to be extremely helpful when booking. The villa exceeded our expectations being spacious and immaculately clean. The villa is ideally located for getting around Tobago. we were 5/10 mins from Store bay and the beautiful Pigeon Point beach.
The villa is extremely comfortable and fitted with all modern utilities including dish washer, large cooker & fridge freezer. A washing machine and tumble dryer; much needed and most importantly airconditioning to all rooms-absolutely essential!!
Our daughter practically lived in the swimming pool (she's missing it now!!) every morning and evening, and by the time we left she was swimming the lenght of the pool with out her arm bands.
Catherine (housekeeper)worked hard to keep the villa clean and we found her very pleasant and helpful.
The swimming pool was cleaned every other day.
we hired a car (matrix) from Alfred's (next to airport)who our elder daughter had recommended and we found him to be very fair & trusting (considering the comments we had read on Mytobago about some of the hire companies!)
Overall we had a fantastic time and are looking to return back (wouldn't go anywhere else) to New Timbers in 2013 if it remains a holiday home, as during our stay we became aware the property was being sold.
my comments above do not do justice for this beautiful property.

We stayed in new Timbers for 2 weeks in Jan 2011 and I have to stay we had a great, time the villa was just as seen on the web and the staff were fantastic Catherine made us very welcome and is a very lovely lady.
We enjoyed the wildlife in the garden whilst relaxing in the pool including humming birds, resident crab and lizards... heaven.
Very hard to say anything negative about this villa but if pushed would say the tiles we very slippery when getting out of the pool with wet feet, so left a towel at the edge. Sorted.
The villa was in a great spot and was lovely to sit at night listening to the crickets and nothing else.
All in all I would tell all who would listen to go to this great island and stay at New Timbers for a holiday to remember for all the right reasons.
Thank you to all wish I was still there.
Clare and family

There were six of us staying at this Villa in October and i must say that all of us were more than satisfied with the Villa. We had booked it through the owner who is based in he UK and all was soeted before we Left for Tobago.
The Villa is in a quiet area but remains in walking distance to Store Bay and is also close to the RBTT Bank and the many restaurants in the area. We were after a quiet area as the last time we were in Tobago we stayed too close to the night life and did not get much sleep on Friday & Satuday nights.
The Villa was clean and well furnished. The folders with information on important contact numbers and a folder with a guide on what there is available to do in Tobago was very helpful. The Villa is alarmed and if the alarm is set off there is a quick response (we accidentally set it off after returning from a few drinks) as the Villa is linked to a rapid response security company or the agent will give you a call if it is during daytime hours.
There was a maid who cleaned the villa daily and the staff at the agents office who manage the property on the Island were always available on the phone to assist. The whole Villa was airconditioned and there was plenty of cable channels available. The pool provided an ideal evening chill out area as we relaxed and had a few drinks. There was a BBQ which we got to use with our catch from a few days fishing. All in all we will be back to this Villa as we know that for the price we paid it was more than what we expected. We felt secure, safe and comfortable. If you after a realy relaxed and comfortable place to stay then this is the spot.

This is a delightful villa, very well maintained with high quality facilities in a private location but very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. As a family of 4 with two teenagers we found many activities to occupy our visit. We hired a car toured the island, took two trips out to the Nylon Pool which was great fun with a real party atmosphere! Of all the Caribbean islands that I have visited, Tobago is the least spoilt, a good place to take a family and most of all the friendliest people. I would recommend this as a place to stay.

This is a well laid out bungalow, beautifully and comfortably furnished in neutrals and soft tones. It is one of a few of the same design in the Bon Accord development. It is very bright and airy throughout, and the entire house is also air conditioned. The property is walking distance to Store Bay and Pigeon Point beaches, and round the corner from many restaurants. It is ideally suited to everyone from babies (we had a six month old there) to the grandparents (and the baby's grandad).
Booking through the owner in the UK was a very simple and straightforward process, and the staff in Tobago were very friendly and helpful.
We totally enjoyed our stay at New Timbers and will certainly be recommending it to friends.
