If your passion is nature andwant to beasclose to itas possiable...this is it, without frill and yet everything you will need.

Host was fantastic andmade uscomfortable and welcomed.

We had a wonderful stay for two weeks at Blue Mango. Rebecca is always very helpful with everything you may ask or need and the Sea Steps Cottage has an amazingly unique location just in between some rocks with an almost private beach.

Although the cottage itself would require some refurbishment and a slighlty better equipped kitchenette it offered everything to accomodate and cook for a family with kids.

We think there is absolutely no better place to stay in Castara Bay if you love privacy but short ways to any restaurant, merchant or beachside.

Loved loved loved this place! My boyfriend and I went for 10 days and came back refreshed and revitalized. Rebecca is quite the character and knows anything and everything about the area and Tobago in general. The town is precious and has so many walking trails.

The cottages were clean and well kept. The breezes flowing through the open room were amazing as were the views. We never looked at our watch or a clock once. Castera is like that, sleepy, dreamy, and so relaxing. I rarely if ever stay at the same place twice, but I would go back to Blue Mango in a heartbeat.

Absolutely paradise! We stayed at the Blue Mango 7 nights and enjoyed every single minute. Colin and Rebecca made a wonderful and lovely place, with sweet cottages overlooking both Castara bays. From our balcony we could see manta rays swimming in the blue waters beneath us and we spent one evening totally relaxing in the hammock with two beers and an amazing starry sky above us.

Rebecca helped me to make a special birthday diner for my fiance with delicious crab&dumpling and nice carnical soca afterwards.

Colin and Rebecca are wonderful people helping you where they can with a big smile and lots of pleasure.

The cottages are lovely and everything you need is inside. Castara is a lovely place with a nice waterfall and magnificent beaches. We will be back without a doubt!

Stayed at Trinity's cottage this August, as Colin had rightly advised us that this would be most suitable for our family. So, I think we got a slightly different perspective on Blue Mango and Castara to the other visitors in these reports who stayed at Sweet Point or Sea Steps, and we loved it none the less. Trinity's cottage is reasonably spacious and just off the small quiet road leading down to Big Bay, so accessing the beach and village is extremely easy. The beach is hardly a minutes walk down the hill, the village centre just a minute or two further, and you can also go up the hill where there is a bar, small shop and fruit/veg shop.

There are sea views from the front of the accomodation, and the verandah has a pleasant high aspect over the road leading down to Heavenly Bay. Our son loved watching the cars get stuck on the hill every time it rained! There is a small telly in the cottage with some satellite channels, just enough to entertain the kids on the odd occasion, as well as everything in the kitchen you need to cook the fresh fish from the vilage. Trinity's cottage has no air conditioning, and is not the sort of place to go if you want to be sealed in from the elements, village noises and/or insects. For us though this all added to the experience. On a constructive note there were a couple of holes in the mosquito nets so they could do with replacement at some point.

A real highlight of the trip was how welcome Rebecca, Trinity and Colin made us feel right from the start. Our children made great friends with Trinity and some of the other children in the village and spent lots of time playing with them on the beach. Plus Rebecca is a great cook and we enjoyed eating at the Clay Kitchen or having pumpkin bread for breakfast. One or two parts of our holiday didn't go quite to plan unrelated to the accomodation, and Rebecca was very helpful and protective of us.
