Sea Shells Villas

3-bedroom villa at Bon Accord

Sea Shells Villas

Visited Tobago from July 15th thru the 19th, which was way too short, but it was heavenly, unspoilt and enchanting.
I stayed at #136 Sea Shells Villas in Bon Accord, it's off Milford Road and the turn off is directly opposite the Pancake House, make the first left and you're there.
The villa is ideal for a family, 3 bedrooms, all air conditioned, 2 with ensuite bathrooms on the upper floor as well as the kitchen which opens onto a covered veranda that doubles as a family room as well as a dining room, it overlooks the pool, jacuzzi and the beautifully lanscaped gardens. Each bedroom on the second floor has french doors that opens up onto the veranda as well. On the ground floor there is a sitting room, bathroom and the third bedroom as well as a washer and dryer and a bar. The housekeeper, Donna was an absolute joy, she brought the sunshine in each and every morning and for a small fee which can be worked out with her, she would even cook your meals if you so desire. It was so relaxing having coffee on the veranda to sound of birds on mornings, it transported me into another world.
At nights it was so hard to leave the villa, the we hung out poolside while one of us did the grilling, usually me
You can contact Christine Charbonne, who is an absolute pleasure, she will arrange evertything for you, just pack your bags and leave every thing to her and the staff at Sea Shells Villas, you're in good hands.
Christine can be contacted directly at (868)-639-9600 or you can visit the website at http://www.seashellsvillas.com/index.html
This was my first visit to Tobago in 17 years and it remains an upspoilt, enchanted land. I hope it does not change and stays as it is, I know it's selfish of me, but that's how I feel.
As far as the many reports on security concerns go, I felt as safe as ever, however it does not mean that one has to be careless, just follow the advice on this site and you'll be okay.
mytobago is an invaluable source of information to all who visit Tobago, I know I relied on this site a good deal and I'm a national of Trinidad and Tobago ! Kudos to Steve and everyone else who bring Tobago into our homes every day and to having a great vacation. Without this site, what would we all do.

Has any one been to Sea Shell Villas since ? We have booked months ago and will be there on 1st April. Reading this posting has given me loads of confidence that we have chosen correctly.

Any more recent experiences would be most welcome - thanks in advance to anyone able to oblige.

Hi John;
You've made a wise choice. I visited Tobago again in October '05, but did not stay at Seashells because they were all booked to a wedding party from the U.K. :( I did however pay a visit to Chistine Charbonne, who is the property manager for the villas to say hello and to have a look at one of the villas that's potentially for sale. I can assure you that you'll enjoy your stay there and would not regret it.
On your return, please give us a report on your stay at the villa and Tobago.
I took pictures of the villa, if you're interested in seeing them or if you have anymore questions/concerns, you can contact me via email.

Enjoy your holiday.
Roger.

Back from two weeks at Sea Shells Villas. Very good and would endorse all that has been said before. However, we did find the third bedroom on the ground floor to be a bit on the small side with not enough storage space. The company through whom we found the villa did state in their brochure that all bedrooms are en suite - the down stairs bedroom is not.
I would advise anyone booking to go there to ask for villas up to number 136. The others, like the one we stayed in do not have the same "back garden" aspect.

If anyone is wanting to stay in England and would like me to take their place on the plane.........
