Tobago is the perfect site for a villa that promises to soothe the weary soul. The island lies at the southern end of the Caribbean, not far from Venezuela. It is small and mountainous and surprisingly free of the usual trappings of tourism.
There are no cruise ships, no crowds ... simply lush rainforests with magnificent bay views and birds and ... more birds.
Beautiful Tobago was created as the backdrop to Being. This enchanting villa is nestled into the side of a hill on a five acre organic fruit farm with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.
Being villa combines elements of a traditional Caribbean plantation home with modern architectural features. It actually comprises of a collection of small structures, or pavilions. The villa takes unashamed advantage of the climate, the beautiful views and the seclusion offered by its hillside perch.
The Living Areas
The Living Room opens onto a terrace overlooking the pool and features a Hi-Fi system, CDs and books.
The Kitchen and Pantry Pavilions (with built-in dishwasher, fridge and oven) expand to form the informal heart of the home and overlook the pool.
The Villa's Dining Areas consist of three areas, covered, uncovered and open. Each option accommodates the time of day and your state of mind. The Bar and Barbeque are enclosed sitting areas created for entertaining one, two or many.
The Bedrooms
The Romantic Room is the master bedroom and has a 4-poster king-size bed and loft with access to a private pool terrace. The Blue Room is a air-conditioned room with twin beds (which can be reconfigured to a king-size bed). The Caribbean Room is outfitted with a queen-size bed and a loft with a pull-out single bed and dramatic ocean views. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Rooms and bathrooms all have sea views.
