Castara is a fabulous village with plenty to do (very hilly) and this is the best location in Castara. The sound of surf below the private deck is blissful and the apartments are set up efficiently and quite pleasant. Lots of shelves and hooks to stay organized, plenty of cooking utensils etc. in the kitchen, top notch housekeeping every couple of days, lattice work ventilation keeps the apartment very comfortable all day. A little fresh paint and treatment for a few places where termites are leaving trailings (common problem in Caribbean) would make it perfect. It would also be helpful to get your village info before arrival as there were no maps or information in the room.
