I don't think that there are regular ferrys between tobago and grenada. I have searched about this too. The only way is by plane. LIAT doesn't offer flights between tobago and grenada anymore. So flycaribbeanstar is the only possibillity. The onlinebook system of http://www.flycaribbeanstar.com doesn't work at the moment. I don't know anything about the prices. (about 300 TT$ (max) for the tour grenada-tobago-grenada?). If you have enough money you can perhaps charter a ship. But I think that than you can't do a day trip, because you will spend much hours on the water.
Does anybody know something about the rates when I take a flight by flycaribbeanstar?

I wanted to do it the other way round. Couldn't find anything by sea, but LIAT will fly you there via Trinidad. It's probably more convenient to do the Trinidad/Tobago leg with Tobago Express, but there's also the ferry for that bit, over 5 hours though.
