As a group of four we stayed at Shirma's for 5 weeks for our medical elective at Scarborough General Hospital.

Chosing Shirma's was definitely the right desicion. She and her family are very warm and welcoming people and they made our stay wonderful and unforgettable by taking good care of us. Once a week all students were taken to a supermarket and a vegetable store and every Sunday Shirma cooked a delicious meal for everybody.

The apartment we stayed at was very clean, comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you need, like a toaster, microwave, AC etc. The only problem we sometimes encountered was the wifi connection, but Shirma tried her best to improve it and in the end it worked pretty well.

The area surrounding the apartment is very safe and quiet and a nice beach with a beach bar is located just a 10-15min walk away.


We can definitely recommend Shirma's and will return!
